Has anyone tried using these playlists to get a different view of MacGyver or even just to mix things up a bit?

That's the privilege of stand alone episodes most of the time. You can watch them in any order you like.

Still missing some though: Lost Treasure of Atlantis for example. Trail of Tears and The Stringer in injury episodes: gunshot/broken arm. Good Knight MacGyver? Head injury or might as well go with dream episodes.

I made my own playlists as long time ago here.

I especially like the last set in which Mac is either completely alone or with people from his past.

Hellfire
The Prodigal
Flame's End
Slow Death
The Escape
The Wish Child
Eagles

The Treasure of Manco
The Lost Amadeus
Tough Boys
Bitter Harvest

Faith, Hope and Charity
Honest Abe
Deadly Silents
Gunz 'N Boyz

The injury episodes are ones where the injury is an ongoing part of the storyline rather than just something that happens along the way.

I've just added Trial of Tears to that list because it plays a relevant part in the subplot of the episode.

In the Stringer, the injury happened quite late in the story and had no impact on the plot of the episode. In fact, it wasn't even the same injury he started with! doh.gif

All of the episodes on your list have MacGyver with other people and the majority of them are people he's never met before. unsure.gif

Otherwise the entire show would be the playlist tongue.gif

It's just another playlist. I once watched all those episodes in that order. It does give it another feel to it. It kinda intensifies his lonesomeness. No Pete, no Jack, no Murdoc, no Penny, no Nikki... I think it pretty much shows how Mac wants to live his life. On his own, no disturbances from Jack or anything. Especially in the later season 6 episodes it does give it something depressing though or it might have to do with the weather in those episodes. Looks like I forgot Eye of Osiris but I think I kept it out because of Hakim but, I believe the episode should be in there though.

REALLY like these lists! Sometimes you just want to watch Mac & Penny together....other times Mac & Harry.... or Mac & Pete...or Mac & Murdoc...

GREAT Lists! Thanks!
