We actually do have an opportunity! You can call in to his new radio show and ask him a question (I'm far too shy!
) .
From desbarres.com:
This week Michael is switching over to a new radio network; The Joint Studios. His new show is called The Michael Des Barres Show and will air live every Thursday from 3 – 5 pm PST, starting on July 4th.
Michael says:
“My radio show debuts this week! Thejointstudios.com on July 4th… At last a platform in which I can talk to you… About all and everything. Needless to say this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with you guys in a very real way, which is all I’ve ever wanted!! Archived so you can see it anytime… Meet rock stars, actors, environmentalists, clowns and hustlers. We all have a story to tell, including you. Music, movies and news. All of it every Thursday 3-5pm. My first guests: Weird Al Yankovic and Ed Begley jnr.”I have lots of questions. Let's see...How about if he can remember something that went wrong during the filming of MacGyver? Since there's no behind the scene footage on the DVDs...
Will there be a MDB documentary anytime soon? (I've heard talk about it)
A European tour?
The Silverhead reunion in Tokyo last year: Apparently it was filmed. Will the DVD be released?
Does he have more than one cat? (LOL! Very important question
)
And more details on how he got the role of Murdoc. I've read the (very good!) story about MDB arriving at the audition in a limousine and that the producers were so impressed that he got the role due to the entrance and not because of what he did on the audition! He said that he was asked to audition for the role. Does that mean that someone suggested him? If so, who? And why did that person think that MDB would be the right man for the role?
I'm sure I could think of more to ask.
"Definitely Murdoc's handiwork. I could fix it if I only had some duct tape." -Murdoc (impersonating MacGyver), "Strictly Business"
