Before anyone gets overly critical, I just thought it was amusing and wanted to share this. I was digging around in my files trying to find my convention tickets so I could print them. I found this timeline I created trying to merge the original and reboot MacGyver. I actually even had a fanfic in the works, but it fell to the side because of personal dramas. Oy...

I also understand that this is a bit far fetched and bit out of left field... but just roll with it.

Anyway, enjoy... XD

MacGyver
Original and Reboot Timeline

1950 - Murdoc is born
1951 - MacGyver and Jack Dalton are born
1973-1975 - SAM (Sean Angus Malloy) is born to Angus MacGyver and Kate Malloy
1988 - Dennis (Murdoc Jr.) is born to Murdoc and Deborah (Negotiator)
1990 - MacGyver (reboot) is born to original MacGyver and unknown female (possibly original Nikki Carpenter). Is raised by a fake "foster" MacGyver family through the DXS. This is unknown to the original MacGyver.

Present Day
Original MacGyver is enjoying retirement in a cabin in Minnesota. Has no clue that Mac Jr. exists.
Original Jack Dalton is enjoying his usual scoundrel ways while relaxing in the Bahamas
Original Nikki Carpenter is MIA and presumed dead.
Pete Thornton has passed away.
SAM is living with his family close to his father in Minnesota.
Original Murdoc is currently head of HIT as Nicholas Helmen. The title of Murdoc is given to his son, Dennis.

Reboot characters are all agents of the DXS and their identities are fake:
Wilt Bozer
Jack Dalton
James MacGyver
Dead Foster Mom MacGyver (possible meat popsicle)
Nikki Carpenter
Patricia Thornton
Matty Webber

Riley Davis is a hacker and mole from the original, now disbanded, Phoenix Foundation. This group has gone underground and Riley is placed to find out the purpose of this new Phoenix Foundation and their plans for MacGyver Jr.

WORLD DOMINATION!!!!

LOL!! Good job!! What's kinda funny is I had kinda the same idea for Murdoc after watching MDB's latest appearance in the reboot. Now that "Helman" is imprisoned right across from Dennis Murdoc, they have plenty of time to talk and "Helman" comes out as original Murdoc and Dennis's father...if that makes sense! Sooo, time for another guest appearance by MDB!!!

Haha! Thanks guys!

I kinda had the odd idea that reboot Jack Dalton was Jack Jr. from Rock the Cradle, but it wouldn't work since George Eads is like 20 years older than the kid. XD

I suppose it was my brain's way of connecting the two, even though I know they're not really connected at all. But, I tried. lol

I made some timeline errors in the fanfic. Eventually I'll get back to it when I'm not so distracted. lol
