I just watched first seasons the prodigal and target MacGyver episodes from dvd and when mac cuts federal cars water hose and gets up in prodigal he has two layer knife with corckskrew maybe 91mm victorinox standard model in his hand. And in target MacGyver he uses executive when he cuts the hollow reeds, so he uses 84mm tinker/standard in prodigal and 84mm tinker/executive in target MacGyver.

Yes he uses 84mm tinker also on differend scenes in those episodes.

I didn't read the last bit of your post apparently.

The SAK list says it all, the spartan and the tinker he used the most, PERIOD.

In last stand episodes beginning when bad guy says to mac to empty his pockets we see victorinox tinker on the table along with money wich buddy takes for himself.
So tinker is also kind of used with executive in this episode.

HI In episode Trumbo´s World (In sak list ) is mentioned Wenger Pocketmate SAK...do you have any proof like Screen Shot where you can reckognize that model of Wenger SAK. It seems to me that Mac is using Wenger knife at the begining of episode to get that towel it looks like he´s using Wenger can opener ("hook style"). When I tried to find Wenger pocketmate on internet all pictures showed Classic 02 which contain Large blade, Nail file , Scissors and Corcksrew (No Can Opener at all) Smartknives description says same tools as Classic 02 so now Im confused

I think your right. If you watch as he unhooks the towel and closes the blade you get a quick little look at the funny angled Wenger can opener.

2. Wenger makes similar models with small blade or nail file (you can´t reckognize them with closed tools)

(I was quite happy when I saw Wenger pocketmate in that list because I wanted to buy that knife despite its price 26,56Euro in local Wengers distributor E-shop )

I don't think it has a key ring chain, because he pokes it down into his boot and there's no chain visible, but it does look a lot like a Wenger just the same.

When MacGyver picks up a towel, you can see a long key chain.

When in doubt, its either a Spartan or a Tinker! LOL.

Except neither of those are made by Wenger so that rule wont work for this knife.

It would help if there was a decent image of the scene, but the picture quality of those early episodes isn't' so great.

In the final episode 'The Stringer", that SAK looks like a "Royal Crest" imitation SAK, they have them on Ebay, check it out!

But does Canyon have a Key Chain ?

I think we established it was a Barlow Knife. The same as the one used for the 100th episode knife.

Yes, the Wenger has the long key chain.

Yeah, but the 100th episode knife doesn't have the toothpick and tweezers, in the the final episode the knife has them (toothpick and tweezers) It was just a theory, maybe Royal Crest changed the way the saw was made!

Yeah, it might not be the exact model they used for the 100th episode, but it sure looks like a Barlow brand going from the shape of the blade.

There might be other shots of the knife in the episode too.. not sure.

There is, in about 15 minutes into the episode where Sam, Mac, and Pete, are in the empty warehouse and Mac uses the tweezers from the knife, the tweezers and toothpick are at the TOP of the knife.
