Lin was the older sister of Chan and was among the group of villagers forced to work in the Burmese opium fields by General Narai and his goons. Like the other villages she was submissive through fear of what would happen if she stood up to her overseers. Even after MacGyver had been captured by Truang and laid out to die in the sun Lin couldn't help him escape from fear of what Narai and Truang would do to her and the other villages. However she willing joined with the other villages when MacGyver drove Truang out of the village and help thewm prepare to fight Narai and his followers when they returned.

She helps macgyver out, then he helps her out. Good charater overall. Seems like she may have feel in love with him if he stayed longer.

She said she couldn't help him escape. It was the kid who helped him, when he stole the

and gave it back to him.

She was always afraid, but when MacGyver came up with the plan she overcame fear and helped. She's ok to me because there are better characters in other episodes.
