I thought of this the other day, when my husband who is from Kentucky told me that he and his oldest brother, would take the insides of a dead battery out heat and put a small piece of wood in it to make it charge back up. Made me start thinking about how our grandparents survived the Great Depression, and what MacGyverisms they used. |

Kind of makes me think that Mac learned all he needed to know from Harry. I would venture a guess that Harry grew up during the Depression, and would have used any means possible to survive and passed that knowledge onto Mac. |
