I thought of this the other day, when my husband who is from Kentucky told me that he and his oldest brother, would take the insides of a dead battery out heat and put a small piece of wood in it to make it charge back up. Made me start thinking about how our grandparents survived the Great Depression, and what MacGyverisms they used. sak.gif

Kind of makes me think that Mac learned all he needed to know from Harry. I would venture a guess that Harry grew up during the Depression, and would have used any means possible to survive and passed that knowledge onto Mac. clip.JPG
