| Well, you've got me fangirling all over the place. I love a good murder mystery, so this one was right up my alley! I loved all the intrigue. You did a good job with this one. Sam and Mac in the desert was probably my favorite part. This line in particular: The red paintwork had dulled to an almost pink hue, and in places it had succumbed to the sun completely, peeling back like necrotic skin on a metal skeleton. Just...dang. That, my friend, is just spun gold. Nothing else I can say. Other favorite lines: For a moment, he wondered if this was how it felt for Murdoc when he fell from the mountain that time. It's about time Mac feels guilty for that one!  And the great Angus MacGyver never zoned out. Just *yes.* Sums up all of his fear and emotions in one awesome (and hilarious) little sentence!  Mac grinned back. “I guess I’m not going to MacGyver my way out of this one, huh?” Cracked me up! Also, my inner cop show nerd did some major geeking out when you brought up the Desert Eagle. That was niiiiice.  |
