The Phoenix Foundation, a tribute band who write and sing songs based on episodes from the 80’s and 90’s hit TV show MacGyver, are set to release their first album on Sept 10 of this year. As part of the promotion they are running a competition for fans of the show to come up with a name for their album. The band has enlisted the help of fan site MacGyver Online, who are hosting the contest page and using their various channels of communications to get the word out to as many MacGyver fans as possible.
The contest is relatively straight forward. The band wants fans to email their ideas for album names to them and the name they like the most will win. The winner of the contest receives an autographed CD copy of the album, along with a life-time pass to all of the bands concerts and will also have their name credited in the CD booklet.
