The most viewed photo in the history of the world is probably the Windows XP's "green hills" wallpaper.
One news article told that the world's most viewed image sat in front of our eyes, in the whole 2000s decade. I guess most peoples who used Windows XP in their home or work, many of them probably saw the image every day when they came to work and opened the computer.
The "green hills" wallpaper's real name is the Bliss. And it was photographed by Charles O’Rear in 1996 in Sonoma, California at Napa Valleys's vine field. So the photo is real, NOT a photoshopped. I have to admit that I thought the photo was made with computer, because the lighting looked little bit unreal in the photo It never crossed my mind that where that place would be, or even the question that "could that be a real place?"
Here's the address for the view: 38°14'59.09"N 122°24'34.72"W
The vine field's land owner should build some tall rack from steel, then there would be a large boards on the rack. One board would look like a Recycle Bin icon, one would be the Microsoft Word and so on... And every morning when the sun starts to rise and will light up the field from darkness to light, then a hidden speakers would play the XP welcome song
