Richard Dean Anderson reprised his role of MacGyver in Saturday Night Live’s MacGruber for a second run of skits last night (March 7th) Previously he made a guest appearance in the PepSuber commercials which eventually aired during the Super Bowl. All in fun and frivolity! I am glad to see RDA participating in SNL's MacGyver-spoof... glad to see him on the screen again!

SNL is no longer my brand of humour... maybe I am getting old, but I don't find most of it funny (the same can be said for many of the popular TV shows now thronging cable channels everywhere) but I am glad that this particular skit exists, and that RDA has become part of it... might lead a few fans back to the show.

Parody might not be the highest form of compliment, but it is a compliment of sorts. Goodness knows I've parodied enough of the things I love, and lightning has yet to descend From Above and fry me where I sit!!

I think that it's more likely that MacGruber is Murdoc's son, rather than MacGyvers... considering how many explosions he's survived!

Only thing I don't like is that they call MacGyver a Super hero.

why i do love the fact there makeing fun of it in a joke way. like many fans it's starting to get old, i loved the tv show like many of us have and to see him being made fun of is like haveing someone slap your best friend in the face.

He got a little heavy, most likely due to surgeries he had on his feet, and probably medications he had to take, but he said he would be taking it off for the next Stargate movie.

This is no official Stargate action figure. I put Jack's head onto the body of Angel from "Buffy". And I bought the little white robe for him. Doesn't he look cute?
