And instead of one new regular like in the other seasons, we get 4 recurring. Murdoc as recurring character is a bit of a surprise for me, but I don't mind. Also a good idea that Tate and Reign are recurring for now and not regular.

Especially with Tate, I'm not sure how they would make him a regular since we don't need early Matty 2.0 being all grumpy and snarky.

To be honest, I'm guessing Murdoc's role in this episode will be more like his role in 2x11. The press release doesn't say otherwise.

Oh that's what I had assumed since they were looking for a Stand-In.

I think he was only on set for a day. So my guess was either he's killing Mac's new girl or his daddy. Though that would be pretty cheap after 2x11. Same situation, only the person dying instead of surviving like Cage.

Maybe he's involved with the new bad guys (e.g. Jonah Walsh) somehow?

This was uploaded on Sunday, a day before the accident on set with Stunt Coordinator Justin Sundquist being injured. It's possible this was actually the location for filming the scene when it happened.

According to Robert Maxfield, the accident happened on the 2nd unit, so the main cast was not present.

STill doesn't give us much about why he's not around any of the latest episodes? Injury possibly? Or have I missed something. Does ep four look like just a Mac and Riley episode?

Maybe he requested some time off? I know Justin did to attend his daughter's first day at kindergarten.

George is not just an actor, but also a father, ex-husband, son and/or sibling. He might have taken some leave of absence to take care of personal things, or he was done with his scenes for 3x03 and/or 3x04 so quickly he got some time off while the others did their filming.

He might have a deal similar to RDA on Stargate, so that he can fly back to LA every weekend now.

It looks like Episode 3x03 is very Bozer-centered. On the other hand, Justin was absent for 3x04. It looks like they're going the H50 route so every other episode, an actor has some time off. Reign hasn't been on set either since 3x03, I think and Meredith wasn't often on set for 3x03 and 3x04 with Lucas and Tristin doing more than usually. That might change for 3x05 and 3x06.

And the moment, I'm more worried about how the accident on Monday might impact production in general.

Why has Nick been on set? Was that already stated?

I don't know and we might never know unless his name shows up in the credits.

I know he finished school recently. He could have spent time on set before he goes off to College/University, either to spend more time with Lucas before going away, or to make money and/or to gather some experience in the TV show business.

He could have been Lucas' personal assistant or an intern dabbling in everything a bit.

I've seen him hold props, but I've never seen him holding other gear (e.g. Walkie Talkies). I'm not sure. But he was at least on set for 3x01 and 3x02 for several days, at least on one day for 3x03 and recently a day for either 3x04 or 3x05.
