*shaky* Oka-a-a-y-y-y. I should try to sort out my thoughts on tonight's episode, but I can't. So I will try to type legibly, and not scream. First 60 seconds were awesome. Thank you, writers, for getting to the point immediately. Nice to have a change in formula too. Murdoc has a point: Why does Mac still have that mask? And live at that address? Murdoc got married? My mom was like, "I didn't know he had a wife!" And I yelled, "Don't look at ME!" XD Murdoc and Amber fighting. New favorite scene. Wow, he's really in love. Do they absolutely have to use pet names though?! XP I want more of them working together. Forget Murdoc, I need Amber and Murdoc together. Aw, she ditched him. Watching Murdoc broken-hearted is sooo sad. DX (I love it) Murdoc really does have morals! This is why I love him XD I do hope to have him get a redemption arc, but not too soon. I like the concept of him switching sides eventually, though. Mac was right. Murdoc did have some human emotion on his face. And even Mac admits Murdoc isn't 100% evil. Poor Cassian. His life sucks XD I still hope we have a snake scene in the future. XD Murdoc making Mac go in second, "Evil before beauty" Sorry, but I find you more beautiful, Murdoc (I must question my sanity). Murdoc in love is adorable. Though I love Mac's reluctant "Third wheel" face. He does not want to be there. Amber: "If you touch my son, I will skin you alive!" Murdoc: "That's not an idle threat. I've seen her do it" I don't know if I should laugh or wince. Small thing, but I'm glad to watch Murdoc get beat up, and actually see him in pain. Humanizes him. I love that while Murdoc and Amber were fighting, Mac just went inside, then came back out when they were sprawled on the ground, out of breath. True, he was just looking for Murdoc's son, but I like to think he was also waiting for them to stop. XD Watching Murdoc angrily shoot things when Amber ditched him - I felt really bad for the murderer. If there was any doubt about how much Murdoc loves his son, that doubt was eradicated in the end. Murdoc just gave up everything for him. That's love. Mac: "What happened to Cassian's mother? You said you killed her!" Murdoc: "I lied. Is that really so surprising?" Mac: "I'm just surprised someone would actually marry you." Yep, I agree Mac called Amber Bride of Frankenstein X'D Murdoc response: "Ouch" X"D Mac steals Jack's phone, Jack steals Bozer's shoes XD I seriously can't believe how Murdoc handled reuniting with Amber; "Honey, I'm home"?! Seriously, Murdoc?! X"D MacGyver the marriage counselor X"D I believe the title "Murdoc + MacGyver + Murdoc" meant both Murdoc and his wife. I thought it meant Cassian. Bit long. Sorry. I had to vent XD Me earlier: "yeah, I like MacGyver, but I pretty much only get excited for the Murdoc episodes. The show's was better in it's first season. Maybe I'm moving on." Me tonight: I am in love. |

I really enjoyed the banter between MacGyver and Murdoc. Loved the face MacGyver pulled when Murdoc was cutting the bullet out of the dead guy.. it was a "wow ok. He really just did that." kind of look. It certainly had some moments that reminded me of the Halloween Knights episode. Over all this may be the best episode so far. |

I loved this episode. Lucas and David work so well off each other. Their back and forth was intense, witty, sarcastic, and sometimes hilarious. and Murdoc's wife, omg, perfect for each other. Cupcake and cookie I admit I didn't see that twist coming. I do like how Murdoc obviously loves his son; a shred of humanity. Murdoc's offer to Mac at the end; foreshadowing? I bet he helps with the Ghost. Mac's face while hugging Nasha: I don't see a happy ending there. My favorite episode so far. Now let's see more Mac with Jack. |

When he cut the bullet out, he held it too close to his face while speaking. I thought he was gonna eat it |

Preliminary ratings: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/the-sked-friday-network-scorecard-11-2-2018.html Even without any promo, it is the second-best-rated episode so far this season. In audience, it even beat "Last Man Standing". |

This episode is great! lol Had a serious Halloween Knights vibe to it with the Murdoc looking for Mac's help to save a relative. David Dastmalchian does such a great job in this role, I love it! lol Murdoc has always been one of those lovable villains. No matter how bad he gets, you just can't help but love him. XD I'd go one, but I think it's already been covered on all the good parts. I will admit, the Murdoc episodes are the best ones. Time to root for the bad guy! Whooo!!! |

Reminds me of his Ant-Man role (Seriously, that's adorkable) I still ship Murdoc + Amber. First time I've shipped anything in the reboot. Otherwise, I just roll with whoever winds up with who. |

Adorkable is accurate. XD I love that picture of him.
That's okay. lol I'm currently really sick, so my posting game isn't really strong right now. Don't expect much thought to be put into my posts... well, okay, less thought than usual. XD |

I feel bad for getting caught up in my Murdoc fangirling to the point that I missed this. This girl is right. Now... back to fangirling over Murdoc |

Well, that was a lot of fun! It certainly wasn't intended, but David Dastmalchian has been the breakout star of this series, and this episode was no exception. Can't wait to see what the next Murdoc episode brings. Also shoutout to fellow Milwaukeean Sarah Sokolovic! |

Definitely, I think sometimes the writers lose sight of Jack Dalton, highly competent army commando and secret government operative, and play him too much for laughs. |

Final Ratings: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-friday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-2-2018.html LSM gained in both demo and audience; beating out MacGyver again. Anyway, the Reboot got to keep the 0.8 demo and stayed over 6 million live-viewers; so that's good. This episode is the second-highest rated of this season. |

I don't think this was my favorite Murdoc episode, but it was definitely entertaining. I'm guessing the next time we see Murdoc it might be because Mac needs HIS help, and Mac may have to break him out of prison. That would be an interesting twist. |

I had my sister watch this one last night. She didn't care for it much. As we were talking about the differences between reboot Mac and original Mac, she goes... yeah, Lucas Till is like Diet MacGyver. He's the same, but is missing something. We both agree that it's because he seems to take the role too seriously and kinda misses that extra spark of personality. David Dastmalchian seems to get it, as he seems to be having fun in his role and tends to steal the show. We did watch Murdoc & Handcuffs for Michael Des Barres, but she didn't seem impressed with either episode. She did agree that David Dastmalchian is great as Murdoc. |

Rewatching tonight, I do have one big thing that really annoys me: Original: "Halloween Knights" Murdoc: "I need your help to save my sister." MacGyver: "No." Murdoc:"Fine, but an innocent girl is going to die." MacGyver:..."Oh crap." Murdoc: "Knew it. " Reboot: Murdoc: "I need your help to save my son." MacGyver: "No." Murdoc: "You'll let an innocent 10-year-old die?!" MacGyver: "Save him yourself." Murdoc: " I kidnapped your girlfriend." MacGyver:..."Oh crap." Murdoc: " " I mean, I'm pretty forgiving about the reboot taking so much of the moral preachiness from the original away, but I keep feeling stressed wondering if MacGyver ever would have helped if Murdoc hadn't made it personal. Original didn't want to help either, but the concept of an innocent woman dying was enough to sway him. But reboot Mac still refused to help even though a ten-year-old could die, until Murdoc basically forced him. I don't blame Murdoc for taking the "liability insurance" because he might not trust that Mac would help him otherwise, but the fact that Mac looked like he wouldn't actually help... |

Love how the repeat had more viewers than the Voice, CK, FOTB and Speechless, the last 3 first-run episodes. |

Was actually surprised it had more viewers than the H50 rerun as well. But that's just preliminary ratings; can't predict if it stays that way. |

Another good one and also with a slower pace. OK, this one is definitely their Halloween Knights. Murdoc having to ask Mac for help to save his family. David Dastmalchian is always great in the role. He just has that menacing vibe all over him. It does seem I already forgot more then I remember but I don't know if doing the "previously" clips is so necessary that they have to go all the way back to the beginning just for the mask. Just the reference to his kid was more then enough, which I completely forgot. Great little road trip, we seem to like Central America, don't we? All the way to Colombia. His wife Amber was great and their physical fight reminded me of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Yeah, they would make a good Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Loved the injuries on Murdoc's face and playing chicken without backing off, probably a nod to Furious 7. Just Brian Paiement? I thought at first that glasses was photoshopped, but it turned out to be real. One last thing. Cookie? Cookie? Now that would've been a great episode title: Cupcake + Cookie + Cassian. They would've gotten three C's in there. I do wonder what is going to happen next now Murdoc is back into custody. They seemed to have sealed the deal with the handshake but still there was something that reminded me over Strictly Business or maybe something that will happen where Murdoc pays off his debt, so they're even again and Murdoc can start hunting again. In all a great episode. |
