Just watch this ep again and noticed that at the beginning When Mac parachutes in the parachute is Pink, Blue & Purple. But when he lands and is gathering it up the colour changes to White, Light Blue & Dark Blue.

Did anyone else notice the REALLY bad background paintings in this episode?

They might as well have just left the gray concrete studio wall there.

When Mac, Jack and Mukti sneak into the heavy waterplant, Mac hides the bag with the tracking device in it and when they go through the next door and down the stairs, Mac's right sleeve is rolled down and hanging open while before and after it's neatly rolled up.

When Samad fires the shot & wounds Baba, he flinches noticeably. Nothing wrong with that really and
most newbie marksmen would probably do the same thing. Problem is, he's suppose to be a renegade army
captain and thus it comes across as plain bad acting.

Alan Rickman used to do that too in Die Hard. I think it sort of depends on how shooting happens. Probably using blanks so they can actually fire and I think a lot of actors kinda flinch because of the noise. Just, you know *pang!*

But it's indeed noticeable.

Depending on the blank gun and windage - you can
ccasionally get smoke discharge in your eye/face and that may
cause extra flinching after so many takes. Often it's the anticipation
of the BANG for the uninitiated ..... but the
camera crew should easily notice this and do the
necessary altercations/retakes to get it right. It's a nitpicky
nitpick .... but we have carte blanche in this thread.

And I well know about getting the 'yips' or flinches when shooting. My father
was an old army sergeant .... and so I was shooting guns at 4 years old.
Yes, I flinched a lot at that age, and occasionally still do - it's all about
controlled breathing, relaxation, and of course gently squeezing that trigger.

When MacGyver returns to Mukti with the tape he sees Jack coming with water samples and clearly puts his arm on his leg. In the next shot his arm is back on the strut.

Jack Dalton hides three testtubes in his inside pocket, while Samad only takes two out. Jack still has one testtube in his pocket. So he had no reason of being grumpy of not keeping at least one lousy testtube.

I just watched this again - The only extra test tube Jack has is in his sock, so he is grumbling legitimately. But he does pour out his water sample at the end of the episode, so he does finally turn over a new leaf.
