I saw Elya Baskin, our dear Yuri Dimitri--better known as 'Biff'-- in Spiderman III. He played Peter Parker's landlord, Mr. Ditkovitch.

I'm rewatching DS9 and will always think of Nana Visitor (Kira Nerys) and Colm Meaney (Miles O'Brien) as MacGyver actors (Carol Varnay/Laura Farren and Dr. Irwin Malcolm). There's on ep where the replicators aren't working the coffee tastes awful and all I can think is that Kira must have made the coffee and it tastes like diesel fluid! laugh.gif

Peter knocks on the door, to know if anyone's there in the bathroom and Baskin just walks in without saying anything except: Rent?

In the third film he's a bit more friendly.

Just the other day I noticed W. Morgan Sheppard ("Dr. Zito" in "Deadly Dreams" and "Lesson in Evil" episodes of MacGyver) in a 2007 Hallmark TV-movie "A Stranger's Heart" (It's really quite good- I'd recommend it.)

The little Russian girl from the Bigfoot episode and whatever other one she was in (sorry, I don't know all the names of Mac epsodes) grew up to the Well's wife in the SG-1 episode 'Heroes'.

He was indeed. And Don S. Davis is in a few episodes as a guest star (the poaching one comes to mind-and the cement truck one with the bomb in the van).

And there are more from SG-1.

Siler (Dan Shea) is my first thought, and I can't think of any others right now, but I know when I was watching Mac recently, I was always seeing folks I knew from that greatest of great shows. biggrin.gif

(And for the record, that is not an exclusive title-it's shared with a select few.) biggrin.gif

A couple of great actor-spottings this week laugh.gif

First, I got a copy of David Hewlett's (better known as Rodney the Annoying Scientist on SG-1/SGA) 'A Dog's Breakfast', which he co-wrote, directed, and starred in with Paul McGillion (Dr. Carson of SGA). Chris Judge (Teal'c of SG-1) had a small but hilarious part in this film, and we'll remember seeing him in the MacGyver episode 'Live and Learn'.

Then, today I watched an episode of Mr. Moto (I am a HUGE Peter Lorré fan) and I saw a very, VERY young Keye Luke, who we saw in 'Murderer's Sky' as Luke's grandfather, Adam Chen.

Whoa! A Dog's Breakfast! Woo-hoo!!! You should watch the extras, Lothi!

Then, you will know how funny it is when I say:

Oooooooo.......NINJA!

You know that the girl in 'Starcrossed' (the show in the movie) is Rachel Luttrell, right? (Teyla Emmagan from SGA.) I know you don't watch SGA, but yeah...that movie is a right little SGA reunion, with CJ thrown in for fun. LOVE his part!

Oh, and 'Starcrossed' is in production as an actual show-produced by David Hewlett.

I saw our own dear Dr. Creepy Zito -- W. Morgan Sheppard -- on a recent episode of NCIS. He played a very, very bad guy!

He hasn't lost his touch... he can still make me shiver just at the sound of his voice!

Ever since we watched the episode of SG:1 a few weeks back where Carter gets kidnapped and the homeless guy sees it and exclaims "Ninjas!!", it's become a bit of an "in joke" with my kids.

When ever something happens around the house now one (or both) of them exclaim "Ninjas!"

Oh! I am laughing so hard! laugh.gif

I was watching an episode from the first season of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (circa 1954) and they were using the Griffith Observators as a setting as a super-sekrit T.H.R.U.S.H. powerstation in the Austrian Alps!

I wasn't positive that it was that place, until I saw the monument in the courtyard in front! Then I squee'ed and said "OMG! It's MacGyver's first apartment!"

LOL! roller.gif

I loved The Man From Uncle . . . but I loved MacGyver more. Now, if only Mac had been there to foil the Thrush baddies!

MacGyver wakes up, goes to front door, peers out at Thrush agents.

Been watching 'Colditz' on YouTube... and I have the privilage of seeing a very very young Christopher Neame!

My goodness surprise.gif The lad has certainly grown up... but I am at a bit of a loss now. I'm kind of bemused at his performances in 'MacGyver' now, because his work in 'Colditz' is stellar, whereas in 'MacGyver' he was King of Cheese.

O how the mighty have fallen mellow.gif

Still biggrin.gif It is great seeing him in action!

Ha ha ha!! I just watching an old David McCallum movie called 'Shattered Image' (rather forgettable) and saw a grown-up Ramon Franco (played Ramon and Spider in two episodes of MacGyver, 'Final Approach' and 'Blood Brothers')

It took me a while to remember where I'd seen him... which is funny, 'cause he looks just the same! laugh.gif

Everyone, sometimes, needs a camel.

Old troubleshooters never die...
They just wait til the last moment and then rescue themselves!

How about these from Babylon 5?

Peter Jurasik (Londo Mollari, was Prof. Charles Walden in Trumbo's World)
Bruce McGill (an Earthforce Major)
W. Morgan Shepherd (a Soul Hunter)

I'm trying to think of some more...

Some days, you wonder why you got out of bed...
Watching and enjoying Season 7 on Region 2 DVD!
