This news is just coming out now... In a new interview, Jorma Taccone revealed that they have been "aggressively" pitching a MacGruber TV series. Specifically, they've been shopping it around to various streaming services. He apparently has the original cast already on board ready to go if it gets picked up.

well as they say in the article, a 30 minute long episode on a streaming service is easier to write (more like the original skits) and means people can just watch it where-ever they want to, so all-in-all has a much better chance than a movie where people have to drive to a theater and hand over their wallet. |

The skits were okay, the movie wasn't even remotely funny. A TV show... ehhhhhh... probably not. lol So, I'm kinda with Dragondog on that one. Big piles of nope. |

Normally I really like parodies, but for some reason, this one always rubbed me the wrong way. I think I just don't like the actor that much. I watched Last Man on Earth despite him, I just almost never think he's funny lol. |
