The first MacGyver episode, where is the basic 2 door jeep is Ugly Duckling. But the first Jeep Wrangler in first time is in episode the Eraser. And usually the MacGyver jeep dashboard is dark black, but in this Eraser episode the dashboard is light tan. I think this is not a any marvellous thing, but I just noticed that.

In that screen shot the whole jeep is a different color. It looks like colored, but normally the jeep was a dark/faded/dirty color.

He obviously loved Jeeps so much he had two of them!

lol.. 3 if you count the one he had from season 3 onwards with the cover on the back. although I suppose you could argue that he sold the second season jeep and replaced it with the hard top.

The Jeep has been a good mystery throughout the series, I was watching the First season Episode "Ugly Duckling" I noticed a Jeep, but I think it was a Willys or a different version of the Wrangler, since I have started to watch the whole series again I believe this is the first Jeep Wrangler/Willys appearance, I´m almost sure it is a Willys because of the rounded front lights, please correct me If I´m wrong, seems like a nice detail-

The black jeep in the Ugly Duckling episode is a Jeep CJ-7. The Willys Jeep production was only 1941-1945. So this black CJ-7, would be between of 80-86 year models. The first Wrangler came in 1987 and it replaced the CJ-7 model. The Wrangler frame is about same as a CJ-7's frame, but the headlights and rear fenders are different.

Actually yes, and I know a lot of Jeeps. So It's very easy recognize which car is what.

cool. Whats the season 3 jeep?

Well, It's same Jeep Wrangler YJ in 3 season. Sometimes Jeep's got a top, sometimes without top, but same jeep. In 2 season episode 'Birth Day' in that episode mac lift his jeep with crane. And the crane strap went under the front fender, so after that scene you see the strap left the dent to the front left fender. And after that episode, we see that dent on jeep in every episode and season where is that jeep. Then we know that a same jeep.

Im a big jeep entusiast, and I put alot of effort turning my jeep into a "MacGyver Jeep".
