MacGyver (the original) is coming to Metv! I first noticed them hinting about it 2 (or was it 3?) weeks ago, and tonight the comercial said starting Monday, Dec 19th (I think) that MacGyver would be coming on weekdays 5pm Est and 9pm Est

been watching it, love the little mac videos they do in between conmmercials

CBS doesn't seem to know how promo works for the premiere of new episodes, either

Yes, they're funny. I don't remember any of the old German promo ads back when I was a kid.

I think MacGyver was mainly seen as a Show for Kids (along with Knight Rider and the A-Team) because they aired in the middle of the afternoon, never at prime time.

METV just put out their summer schedule. NO MACGYVER!!!

beginning May 29. Went from showing it twice a day to nothing! Guess I'll be getting DVD's from the library when I have a "Mac Attack"!

At least I found a library close to me that has the entire series on DVD. I'll be watching it that way...can't go into Mac withdrawal!! Maybe MeTV will bring it back in fall?

I think there's a good chance for it coming back.

With Season 2 of the reboot starting in September, there's a lot of buzz. That's practically free advertizing for the Original Show as well. It would be such a missed opportunity not to profit by bringing the original back.
