I was wondering something ,dose anyone know where you can get a Phoenix Foundation Id card made ?


of course I know my question is kinda silly oa lame.Ha Ha

You can probably make one yourself using desktop software. You can have it laminated at a print shop.

If you have a clear picture of one, I can make it on my computer...

Ok, well I managed to come up with this. The Phoenix Foundation logo isn't the clearest, but from a distance it will do the job. I copied it off the Pete Thornton ID Badge blown up, so when you want to print it, it may need to be shrunken down a bit:

Rocky, in the blue and white logo you posted, the words around the circle say “Phoenix Research and Development”. But in the ID cards in the screen captures, it’s “Phoenix Foundation for Research”.

are you sure thats what they say?

The background color is wrong on the new card too... it needs to be orange like the real card, and the words around the logo should be the same color as the background.

I know it's picky, but might as well do it right.

The lettering is blurry, but yes, I'm quite sure. Look at the length of the words and where the spaces between the words fall in the arc of the circle.

Now that I think if it, the blue-and-white logo is the only time I remembering seeing the phrase as "Phoenix Research and Development" rather than "Phoenix Foundation for Research".

Guys I have to say you are wonderful friends to have. My next order of bussness is to get a Phoenix Foundation for Research t-shirt. I can tell that my plan for the ID and the T-shirt will go along with a leather jacket and a pair of white sneckers fot a Holloween costume. The company I work for has a costume contest every year. I have my new SAK that my husband bought me and I plan to carry that and a roll of duck tape with me.

I do have a question thought. Should I ware a blonde mullet wig? My hair color is dark brown.

I think you should definitely go with the blonde mullet wig as that would finish it off perfectly.

You can also leave your hair brown -- first season Mac had brown hair, after all.

When I picked Lothi up at the airport when she flew in for Gatecon, I was wearing the following:

Black tennis shoes, blue jeans, black tank-top, long-sleeved bright blue silk shirt, black leather jacket.

She had no trouble recognising me.

I did, however, draw the line at wearing white socks. I will not wear white socks with black shoes!

Hmm- there's those loose dollar bills tucked in with MacGyver's ID again in that last screenshot. Oh well- that's another thread.

Cool idea on the MacGyver costume for Halloween though- sounds like you've got the look down pretty good. I assume you've got the high top sneakers and bomber jacket, right?

Would that be his drivers license hiding in the back?

I do have a bomer jacket that I'm going borrow from my dad. The shoes I will have to buy. I finished my Id today. I saved it on a disk and took it to office depot and a had it printied and laminated . It turned out great. I added an old picture to it. The darn think looks so real that the guy at office depot thought it was a real company. I had to try very hard to keep from laughting out loud. I wish I could show you all what it looks like but I do not have access to that kinda technaology.

I haven't looked to see if this one is still on Amazon. I've seen it on eBay from time to time though.

I'm sure there's photos of that card on here somewhere, or one very similar anyway, but I can't find it at the moment.
