It was nice seeing Matty out in the field doing stuff, in danger, instead of just hanging out in the War Room giving orders.

This episode had so much humor in it!

Yes it was really nice to see that Matty can actually "Walk the walk" instead of just dishing out orders... although I have to say seeing her in the field and how much she stands out (due to her height) does make the premise of her being a top CIA agent rather laughable... but suspension of disbelief and all that... laugh.gif

It was a very entertaining and enjoyable episode.

Preliminary Ratings: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/the-...d-4-6-2018.html

As the other CBS shows, a bit higher audience numbers than last week. Even if it adjusts down a bit, it will probably be better than 2x18.

They got to keep the 0.8 rating in demo, but again it was rounded up. I'm assuming it will stay a 0.8, though.

I really liked the old-school-MacGyver-like ending and the Opening Gambit. Otherwise, I didn't really get into this episode that much - although I was happy to see Dawn back.

Clearly a filler episode - they can be good, but I really think they should start tying up the loose ends instead of dumping them all into the Season Finale Episode.

Also, not enough Mac for my taste laugh.gif. I don't care about Matty that much... still miffed about Thornton *LMAO*. At the moment, I'm just here for Mac (and Jack) tongue.gif

I saw someone else mention that it's nice that Mac's idea to stick that thing onto the car never worked out. It proves that he's not omnipotent. They're right. tongue.gif

Both H50 and Blue Bloods gained in Viewer Numbers while the Reboot lost a bit. Still steady with the demo-rating of 0.8

I forgot to comment on this one, probably because I lost interest in the episode about halfway through and started doing other things while it was on. Definitely not one of my favorite episodes. I don't even really know why I disliked it, it just didn't hold my interest at all.

I don't dislike it, but somehow I didn't "connect" to it. Forgot pretty much everything besides the Opening Gambit; yet don't feel the need to watch it again (like it sometimes happen with other episodes).

This was a good and fun episode. While clearly CGI, that was like the best opening gambit, I've ever seen. Laying down on a trampoline filled with balloons. You might wonder where they got them. And shouldn't they have been strapped to the trampoline? Anyhoo, that was a nice opening gambit.

Yeah, about that... that was like. Did I miss something? I thought the car just took off before Mac had the chance to stick it to it. Like he was late and said: didn't work.

And was it me or is the CIA building right across the street from Phoenix? I thought I saw the Phoenix building when Mac threw the computer out.

Besides the CIA-director somehow reminded me of Dana Elcar. For some reason I thought, if he was still alive, he should've played that role.

It's also nice to see Matty calming down a bit. I didn't mind she called Jill "specs" this time. I don't mind nicknames if they're not condescending. Jill also seems to have a big job description or did she make promotion? From assistant to lab technician?

I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver.
Sometimes you just have to die a little inside to be reborn and rise again as a stronger and wiser version of you.
It's better to be a little sad than to be fake content.

That's the problem. They are condescending. Specs is another way of saying 4-eyes.

Everything she says is said in condescending and mean tone.
