There's nothing wrong with new ideas, but we do need more positive shows, I think. Don't get me wrong, I like dark movies/shows, but I'm also very picky... like my father.

I watch Game of Thrones, when I'm in the mood for it. I hate that show, and I hate that I enjoy watching it. lol

But, I have to have positive shows to watch as well... too much dark, negative stuff wears on me after a while.

I agree. As i mentioned, there appears to be more of a positive, lighter tone appearing in some new shows. So it looks like we're headed that way.

I never understood Game of Thrones. Until now of course. In the beginning, the show was overruled with wicked leaders and the tone was darker in nature. As they have progressively been wiped out, so to speak, the tone has started to get lighter with the good ones left. Or most of the good ones.
