Well, RDA and AT are watching some photo's to see if they are "decent" enough to show.
Chances are, if some people do not respect these wishes, there might be no more future events....

and yet RDA didn't give a damn about having photos of him taken and posted on the net at the Sea Shepaprds event.

Hmm doesn't make much sense does it.

Did you actually hear him say "don't post until I say so." or is it some bullpoo request from the organisers trying to do a control number on everyone?

Ok I just read the bullpoo rules from their site

they sound like a bunch of Hitlers to me.

How are they going to enforce the no internet posting when...

A. Your in a different country
B. They dont' know your internet name
C. Theres no signed contract and the convention is over.

Yeah, we weren't told anything one way or the other about pictures with Sea Shepherds. Avalon was a whole lot bigger, tho... Clearly pictures were allowed within certain limitations...why would they allow pictures and not allow you to show them to your friends???? Would that exclude posting them in your own online album...most of which can be set so that no one can print the pictures, right? I have no idea. sad that we can't see your pix!

I just wanted to say, I started this thread coz I knew you were excited about going to this event. And you, being my buddy, I wanted to know if you had a good time. Could have asked in private I guess but wanted to give you an opening/outlet. That's not to say that you wouldn't just spilled your guts on your own. But, I guess I posted so you'd know I was thinking aboutcha.

As far as the photos go, I'm not slamming you for doing what you think is right. I don't think anyone has asked to see any photos from the event here (at least not in open forum) but I'm thinking you're being bugged elsewhere.

I don't really care about seeing them or not. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around what seems like a bull pucky injunction. Might be a good idea to split the topic from your account into a WhoTF do they think they are thread.

The first one is the one we got signed by both. I just love it!

The second one is from one session, and the other from the Saturday afternoon Meet & Greet. You can see me and my brother at the right side at the window next to the yellow flowers.

I'm sure there will be more official photos at this side. John did photograph all the weekend. Mine are not very good to show anyway. It's just a proof that I was really there.

I liked the way Raven & Heather saw everything with different eyes (they are from America). So they photographed everything that seemed different and exciting to them, things other people might oversee.

I definitely like the pictures of the old buildings and small roads. I think they are very good.
