| In respect to the late Dana Elcar who will always best be remembered for playing Peter Thornton- MacGyver's boss and best friend- does anyone know about roles he has played in other common TV shows? I know him outside of 'MacGyver' in- 'Knight Rider': Strock in "Merchants of Death" (Season 2) 'Hardcastle & McCormick': Frank Cardigan in "Georgia Street Motors" (Season 1) 'Incredible Hulk': Sheriff Harris in "Escape From Los Santos" (Season 2) 'A-Team': George Olson in "Double Heat" (Season 3) and Judge Mordente in "Judgement Day" (Season 4) |

| I've also seen him in one episode of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", where he already worked with Richard Dean Anderson. Funny how you always meet people twice in life... |

| I was watching Scarecrow & Mrs. King last weekend, and Dana Elcar guest starred as Lee Stetson's boss. Actually, the role was pretty similar to his role as Pete Thornton-- he was the head of the agency. In this episode, Dana's character suspects Amanda King (Kate Jackson) is a spy who has infiltrated the agency, and he demands that she be fired. But, of course, it turns out that he's wrong, and the spy is someone much closer to him. I couldn't see him as anyone other than Pete, though. |

Yeah but it's the same show.  Dana also appeared in an episode of another RDA show, Seven Brides for Seven brothers.  |

| Dana Elcar was also in Columbo tv series episode 'Any old port in a storm' from season three. |
