Right now I'm into Curb Your Enthusiasm. I just noticed Mayim Bailik in one of the episodes. She plays Jodi Funkhouser, the lesbian daughter of Marty Funkhouser. I recognized her in the second episode of the fifth season when she hugged Larry David and when she smiled. The episode made me wonder if she was lesbian, because I thought she was married. Went to check it out but she's straight. She filed a divorce now after nine years. I think she has two kids and was involved in a car accident last year sustaining injury to her right hand, nearly costing her a couple of fingers. She said her thumb was almost severed and her right index finger could've become useless.

Interesting maybe is that she's Jewish. Most actors in Curb Your Enthusiasm are. But I never thought of that of her. Her grandparents were European refugees from The Holocaust. She was raised in the Reform Jewish Religion. And her first name means 'Water' in Hebrew.

Mayim accepted the ice bucket challenge. Hmm, who would she nominate?

Hopefully she'll nominate Joey Lawrence, one of her co-stars from "Blossom" just so we could hear him say "Whoa!" when the cold water hits him.

I hope I haven't made too arcane a reference as it pertains to the Shakespearean thespian that is Joey Lawrence. blink.gif
