As always, the episode seems to be cramped. Russian villains, Nigeria as location... I think Murdoc will be part of the last scene, either continuing on the next episode or maybe even later.

Hakeem had been on Episode 2x06 (set in Nigeria). Apparently, he and Sibongile have worked together before.

Either way, Murdoc will undoubtedly be on early this season.

That's cool if we get some Murdoc in the beginning of the season. Even with the reboot, Murdoc episodes are my favorite. lol

I like the Murdoc episodes as well and David does a good job with the character, I think. I had expected for Murdoc to Show up early in this Season, but not right at the beginning.

On the other Hand, it's possible the Show won't film in the right order to accommodate other actor's busy schedules. For example with Hawaii Five-0, they're filming Episode 9x03 now and start production on the Season premiere later. The two main leads are not on set yet; enjoying a longer Hiatus. That's probably how they manage to film 25 episodes every Season without the leads getting burned out.

H50 films out of order quite often, or they change the order after filming. Not to Forget they filmed Scenes for the Reboot (e.g. with Murdoc's son Cassian) that were dropped later on. I still think we'll see Murdoc in either 3x01 or/and 3x02. I don't mind that, but it seems they're already trying to fit in 3 storylines for the Season premiere. With the new regular cast members, I hope the episodes don't get too crammed up.

I think David is one of the best things about the reboot. Not only does he have great chemistry with everyone else, but he makes Murdoc extremely likable. Of course, Murdoc has always been a likable villain. lol I can't remember, but has Murdoc faced off with Riley yet?

I'm hoping they won't cram too much in one episode though either. I'm not a fan of too much in a single episode, mostly because I tend to lose track of what's happening, and then I forget what happened anyway because there's so much to process.

Too much going on was my biggest problem with season 1. I found it really hard to actually keep up and understand what was going on because there was so much and it moved so fast. You didn't have time to process it before suddenly you'd jumped to another story arc.

I have a feeling this crowd have a misguided idea that quantity is better than quality... i.e. filling an episode with as many half baked and poorly executed ideas and stories as they can instead of taking 1 or 2 (or 3 if they really have to) and give us some good quality well produced story arcs inside a well produced episode.

It's annoying because other shows don't seem to have this issue.
