Which show should crossover with MacGyver?

I think it would be good to perhaps have a cross-over with Blue Bloods, NCIS or perhaps a Hawaill 5.0.

All the above are CBS staples.

Just throwing this out there for debate.

Your thoughts please.

None. Unless it's from the same guys or if a deal can be arranged but let's be honest, before we start crossovers let's have a new beginning first.

While looking up for some info of David E. Kelley, I noticed he tried crossovers. In Ally McBeal for instance she was dating a doctor who got offer to work in a hospital in Chicago --> Chicago Hope. And the show has been mentioned on McBeal as well. In Picket Fences there was a bit of crossover with Chicago Hope. But mainly characters visiting each others show. Like Dr. Brock from Picket Fences visiting the Chicago Hope hospital and characters of Chicago Hope going to Picket Fences, mostly to help out medical issues. But of course that was a nice thing because both shows belonged and were mostly written by Kelley himself. He did try however to have a Picket Fences/X-Files crossover and tried to have Mulder and Scully guest star on an episode in Fences, but the deal was never made. There were however plans and already references written. In the end the deal died on Kelley's side. In The X-Files there is however a mention of the attempt crossover. Something about dead cows in a nearby town.

If a deal could of been made and if arrow was more grounded I would love to see Macgyver/Arrow. (Actually a comic book where Mac and batman work well together it would be cool)

In terms of everything else Macgyver and NCIS would be fantastic maybe Macgyver and Nancy Drew would be cool... Maybe I dont know I would of loved to see a Macgyver Player crossover. Sadly the player lasted only half a season (actually in terms of shows I like nearly every show I loved most was only a season or half a season luckily Arrow is 4 seasons strong but we shall see regarding Mac I am hoping it last 7 seasons)

Now that we know the MacGyver will be spearheaded by Peter Lenkov, and that it sits along side Hawaii 5.0, and Blue Bloods.

FRIDAY NIGHTS will be ACTION PACKED ! boxing.gif

I sense a MacGyver / Hawaii 5.0 cross-over brewing !

Nancy Drew has been canned already.

Apparently CBS deemed it to be "too female".

I would love Arrow/Macgyver cross over or heck just Caity lotz as a guest star would be fantastic

A few other CBS/ current shows I would like to see cross over

Scream the series: I can't be the only person who would love to see Mac take on the classic stereotypical slasher tropes and find macgyverisms around them

Hawaii 5-0: it's a popular show so why not

Ncis: either the orignal or either of the sequels again Mac having to solve a murder and use macgyverisms would be cool especially if say someone tries to pin the murder on him... Mac versus Naval intelligence would be kind of cool

That is about it for now.

They could cross over with Code Black. Also a CBS show........ And Code Black is in Los Angeles....... As for NCIS it would have to be NCIS Los Angeles.

OR.... how about Scorpion? Wow, that would be a clash of brains.......

The first confirmation of a MacGyver/H.50 crossover episode. Reckon it's definitely in the works !

Well, no confirmation as yet. He just hopes that both his produced shows will come to some joint connection. It is possible but it all boils down to the respective creators & execs.

I've never been a fan of H50 so I hope that cross-over never happens. I'm not a fan of crossovers really so I'd be happy to see MacGyver stay a loner.

I don't want a cross-over, either.
I've only seen them a handful of times, and they always end up feeling a bit contrived.

Welcome in here Bigcountry29340! Congrats on your first post in the forum thumbsup.gif

I'm assuming there's only one crossover per Season? So if they're going to do one this year, I'll say crossing over with "Scorpion" seems the most likely. Lucas said he'd love the shows to cross over and he has already worked with Robert Patrick years ago and they met up this summer in Monaco and had a good time.

The biggest "problem" is Scorpion being filmed in LA with MacGyver being filmed in Atlanta, but this distance should be easier and cheaper to manage than last year's crossover with H50.

Also, Scorpion's ratings have been falling quite a bit, so that might give them a boost.

There was no crossover last year. I'm curious if one will happen this season but it doesn't seem like it.

I assumed the one for MacGyver would have been Scorpion if it hadn't been cancelled. The only other CBS show filming in Atlanta is "Dynasty" and that doesn't seem to fit.

I guess the next CBS crossover is Magnum and Hawaii Five-0 - it's the easiest in terms of logistics and now possible with Magnum getting a full first season. It also should happen soon or at least before Magnum is cancelled if the ratings keep dropping.
