MacGyver had a lot of humor throughout it's 7 year run. What's the funniest scene (or scenes) which stand out for you?
The one that always springs into my mind is from"Runners" when MacGyver pops up from behind the TV sets like a startled rabbit after Jennifer asks Pete if he wants a date.
cracks me up every time.
I think the runner up (or maybe first equal) would be from "fire and ice" after Nikki knocks MacGyver down in the library and demands "Who are you?"
MacGyver replies, holding his head, "It'll come to me."

MacGyver getting knocked out in The Golden Triangle. 'You never know when you get hit in the... face.'
The whole scene with Mr. Newberry in Harry's Will. Never begin before 7 am.
MacGyver grabbing Jack in Lost Love. 'Jack?' 'I used to be.'
MacGyver at the funpark when he's looking for Jack and MacGyver going through the mouth of the dragon and the witch jumping up. Also when he goes through the mouth, he falls, gets up, falls again and MacGyver getting smaller and smaller in the mirror.
Changing the baby on Pete's desk in Rock the Cradle.
Almost every scene with Tim Winters in Honest Abe.
The jokes with Dent in High Control.
I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver. For me the funniest scene of the series would have to be in Birthday when the woman is going into labor and Mac whispers "Not now!" to the baby in utero. It cracked me up the first time I saw it. Really unexpected and cute. That scene still makes me laugh.
Or maybe the scene in Out in the Cold where Mac is taking care of Pete after he breaks his leg. Pete says he doesn't want to be any trouble and you won't even know he's there. Then he starts asking for little things, one after the other and gradually starts to drive Mac crazy.

Hey there. Haven't posted in a while.
Welcome home.
In Lost Love when Mac inslist Jack to help him steal the dragon and Mac is trapped inside the case. Still cracks me up how Mac can hear Jack but Jack can't hear Mac. Must have been one way sound proof glass.

The first that comes to mind is "DANG!" in 'Off the Wall', followed closely by "I died... and went to thanksgiving?" in 'Outsiders.
But too many to count!

It's already been mentioned, but I would agree that the scene from "Lost Love" (Part II) where MacGyver is trapped in the glass cage and is trying to tell Jack the code to open it up again is hilarious!
That's one of the funniest scenes I can think of. Also, MacGyver's line about the wrong number just totally puts my karma in a cosmic tailspin or something like that from "The Battle of Tommy Giordano" is really funny too.
Also the scene in "Out in the Cold" where Pete winds up bugging Mac with all his requests is pretty funny.
I always thought this line from "MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis" was pretty funny.

I've got one--okay, several! I like the line in The Wish Child after those dock workers lower MacGyver to the ground (he is dangling from the blown open cargo box), and he says to them, "I changed my mind. I'm not going on that cruise." I also like the line in Legend of the Holy Rose Part One when he says, "I don't think you or my makeup will last that long" after the man he's been sent to rescue says they will have to wait a few more days before they can escape. Or, how about in Lost Love Part Two where he and Jack are crawling through the ducts in the exhibition hall and Jack has a flashlight in his mouth, making his question, "How much further" sound all garbled, and Mac turns to him and asks, "Working on your Russian?"

He didn't seem to have a problem with it the way he looked that morning.
Funny that he said that in The Heist cos in Humanity he mentions that he's an insomniac. Alright, that's 5 years later. Maybe that happens when you're going to your late thirties, early forties.

From Faith, Hope & Charity...
I especially love the camera angle when the scene opens - POV - Mac's injured foot. This is where we find Mac lying on the bed in the Yellow Daisy Room - being informed by Faith and Hope of his medical situation, and getting an earfull about the history of the house.
Faith: "... Hope, stop deviling Mr. MacGyver... we'll have a whole WEEK to get to know each other!!..." Mac is caught totally unaware of this and his eyes open wide as he tries to think of some reply. All he can say is "...A WEEK?..." Hope smiles and nods: "... That's what Dr. Pheiffer said... if you stay off that foot!..."
Mac's expression is precious... I can't think of a situation before where he's been completely stymied by two slightly kooky elderly ladies. He definitely out of his league here - he is totally under their supervision, and he's not a happy camper!

I know, that episode is so cute! He looks like a pouty little boy in parts of it! I have another one from Bushmaster, which I just watched. When Pete shows who the "crack rescue team" is going to be, we see MacGyver shooting paper balls into the trash can.

I can’t think of any particular scenes at the moment but some of MacGyvers wild fighting style is funny. Makes me grin when he enthusiastically wallops someone making him spin round and nearly loose his balance. Always ends up clutching his hurt hand. Very glad he has more than his fighting skills to get him out of a pickle.
What episode is it where MacGyver is trying to get his companion to be quiet and gets so worked up he practically yells “Shush!” being louder then the person (probably Jack ) he’s shushing? That made me grin.
Oh, and practically every scene where Jack is trying to con MacGyver in to going along with something is always good for a giggle.

Yep that was against Jack. He whispers it pretty loud. I would do the same if someone keeps on nagging about that water. Jack really worked on Mac's nerves in their last adventure.

I think that scene with Mac shushing Pete is from The Survivors.
They are both hiding in the cave when the two baddies return. First Mac says "turn off your light" to Pete because he still has his flashlight turned on.
Then when Pete doesn't quite fit into the hiding place, Mac says something like..."suck it (your stomach) up..." to get Pete to pull his gut in so the baddies won't see him.
Is that what you were thinking of??

I can watch that scene a hundred times and never get tired of it!
That whole eppy is a hoot.
Another of my faves is from Blow Out: the scene in Pete's office after Mac has learned that Nikki has just joined the Phoenix Foundation. The look Nikki gives Mac at the end is priceless, as is the rest of the scene:
Pete: Now, you go home to bed, and you, you take the rest of the day off. Just get out of my hair! (Mac and Nikki stare at him.) Pete: Some of us have work to do! (Mac and Nikki are walking out of the office.) Nikki: What's the matter with him? Mac: Oh, he just gets cranky sometimes. (Pete looks up with a glare on his face.)
And of course, the scene in the grocery store with the homemade tear gas and the little old lady.
Let's see, here's a classic from Halloween Knights:
Mac: Hand me that apple and a cabbage. Murdoc (baffled): Apple and a cabbage?
Oh, yes, the scene towards the end of Invisible Killer where Mac shoots his homemade tear gas at one of the bad guys and then:
Mac: Going down? (Bad guy steps back, and through the trapdoor, caught in a noose.) Mac: All right, bagged him!
That one kills me!
And then there's the scene with the soldier at the end of To Be a Man:
Soldier: But next time, American, next time, I drop roof on YOUR head!
For another one, see my signature!
I could go on for a long time...

Talking of Blow Out. The scene where MacGyver asks Pete to look in Nikki's dossier is hilarious as well. MacGyver sneezing all the time and Pete hiding behind his files not to get sneezed on or running away and hiding, is funny. Also when MacGyver holds a sneeze back that has yet to come, but doesn't.

Sorry, I'm not good with episode titles, but I just remembered the scene (I think the one where Jack is in this prison camp) where Mac called Pete and Pete stood and Mac said to him he should sit down again. He just knew what he would do and say
I also had to snigger about the scene in the wine cellar when Mac and Jack started to arguing and the guards wanted to separate them and then suddenly they had both of their fists in their faces and then Jack said to Mac "Wanna dance?"
My brother and me decided that we would use this trick whenever we would get kidnapped.
