I get these creepy beetle/june bug-like things in my house. I don't know what they are, but I hate them.

I searched through some photos on Google, and this is the best one I found. The ones I find in my house are slightly shorter than my thumb.

Anyone know what they are?

At first sight I would say beetles of some sort.

I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver.

Well, whatever they are, they terrify me. I hate to admit, it, but it's true. Call me a chicken if you will, but they're big. Not as big as June bugs, but big. In my opinion, anyway. :shudder:

Nope. I actually googled, "what are the creepy june bug-like things in my house", and searched through all the pictures that came up. This picture linked with someone asking what the tiny beetles on his counter were. I don't know if these are the ones on his counter, because they look like the ones I've got, but the ones he described sounded like the size of ladybugs, and the ones I've got are definitely bigger.

If it has hard shell-like wings its a beetle. If not then a cockroach. Either way you can get a repellent or poison to rid them from your house.

I'll be looking for poison/repellent soon. I think they have wings, but I don't give them much chance to fly.
