Well, I got annihilated by my boys last night playing Vintage VW Monopoly

Well its back to the battlefield for me tonight in WWII.

And then I'm heading off to ancient Egypt again for more Assassins Creed Origins!

Its a weekend full of historic journeys.

That's why I... Tomb Raid. I've seen the world: Peru, Egypt, Italy, China, India, South Pacific, Nevada, Antartica... it's a globe trotter and all that from my couch.

I love Monopoly, but I suck at it. I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but my Dad is ruthless when it comes to board games. lol No pity on us kids either... just took it all, force us to mortgage all our properties and then giggle.

Got Sims 4 Cats & Dogs yesterday. Been playing the crap out of it most of the day. Also a new season started for Diablo 3 on Thursday, so my friend and I have been playing that the past couple of days.

Cats & Dogs is fun though! But never, ever get more than one pet at a time, and never start out with puppies and/or kittens. It's incredibly hard to control. Best to start out with one adult pet, and expand from there. The pets are very demanding, and you have almost zero control of them.

I have to go back to my original Sim, reset her pets and start over today because I was a bit overwhelmed yesterday with a dog and a cat. I should know better... XD

Been playing campaign on WWII and its really awesome. Been having a ton of fun with it.Realistic though which makes it a little disturbing but 2 thumbs up!!!

Anyone play Force Unleashed? That game was a hoot.

The Star Wars titles of late have been under immense scrutiny because of the rush jobs in getting them completed. I have both Battlefront games and although the campaign is fun to play the additional content is currently being reviewed by EA in the hopes to salvage their title.

Yeah, I've noticed that. I haven't purchased a decent Star Wars game in a while. I think the last one I bought was Knights of the Old Republic... the RPG one. I haven't played it in a LOONG time though.

I got a great deal on Metal Gear Rising though. $8 on XBL. I've been wanting that game for some time. I did play some of it yesterday, and tried to stream it, but apparently Twitch doesn't like it.

Metal Gear used to be one of my personal faves. But the last Metal Gear game i played was MGSIII. So i have been out of it for a while. Always wanted to play MGSIV but it was a PS3 exclusive so i missed out. Then MGSV came out but i havent played it and apparently now that Hideo Kojima has left Capcom the new installment seems like a total sham turning it into a Zombie game.

I managed to find a game i did not even know existed! GoldenEye Reloaded for the Xbox which is in the same league as the original N64 classic.


I never owned a N64 but i played Goldeneye with a emulator and it was explosive! So i am really hyped about it.

I still play games on the Nintendo 64!

I still have a PS1. No big deal. I intend to do more on that retro gaming stuff.

All...I need some help in picking out a game for my son. Some information:

1) He is 6
2) He loves anything that has to do with water / swimming / etc.
3) I really try to shield him from violence in video games as much as possible

He currently plays ABZU quite a bit. It is a beautiful and peaceful game, but only about an hour long until you beat the game. I have been reading up on SUBNAUTICA and may get it when it comes out for PS4 in January, but I don't know if it will be too violent.

Any recommendations?

In a world full of video game violence, good luck with that. For PS4 I wouldn't know, for PS3, I can only recommend the Lego games because it's the only thing I know that is suitable for kids and might be fun. Maybe also Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, is actually a kids based game. It's like a toned down version of the movies with lots of bright colors but he still might be a little young for that.

Well, there was a surprise release of another FNAF game. XD It's also free to play on Steam. I actually gave it a go. It's kinda cute, and kinda creepy at the same time. lol

Anyway, Markiplier's first run. I don't know why I love watching him play these... but it's so entertaining. XD

I played the first 3 as well (but only finished the one with the ship/tanker on the lowest level - found it still hard but I remember I was so reliefed and proud that I finally made it after a lot tries)

I tested 'The Shell' but gave up very quickly! I even don't know where to find that one anymore LOL

And then I was so hyped about MGSIII Snake Eater with the jungle scenes! Still like that one very much but again I gave up very quickly And I can not see that good so that game was kind of difficult with the camouflage stuff LOL "Where is the enemy? ... Oh there!" *BANG* "Damn!!! He killed me!"

All for PS2 and I have no clue if the other 2 MGS Games that were published are avail for PS2 anymore! I watched some 'Let's play' videos on YT and found the one with the horse infiltrating the base very interesting ... But the scene in the other one waking up in the hospital having to shoot his way out was dramatic as well ...

I have to say I like 'shooters'

Even the original Metal Gear games of the 1980's were good. Story driven and psychologically executed is what made them so intense.

I still play oldies myself so no bad mouthing an old PS2 or even a PS1 for that matter.

I recently started playing Alien Trilogy again and I'm loving it!

I gotta say that its quite difficult at times and for that im guilty as charged for using some cheats.

It's like 'Robinson Crueso' or 'Lost' (the tv show) like adventure game...

Plot:
You are on a plane over an island and the plane is crashing. You have to survive and waiting for help! Making fire, building a small house, finding food, killing animals for food and so on... You can get ill if you are eating the wrong things and you can get killed (I remember there is a shark near that island somewhere...)

I can not remember if it is a first-person or third-person game.

Hmm... nothing comes to mind for the PS2, but that sounds a lot like Stranded Deep for PC. But it came out a couple of years ago. If that's not it, any other information you can give?

For anyone is interested, I'm gonna play some Mass Effect 2 on Twitch later today. The game I had yesterday didn't start up the way it was supposed to, so I have to start over. XD I just wanna meet up with my space alien boyfriend, Garrus. Garrus is awesome.

It's very looking like it! But I am not sure bec of the few screenshots I saw, the graphic is looking very 'poor' or old. But you said that is an older game, so ... Maybe I am wrong here... I will google it later.

I like cool graphics very much, so I think I am a little bit used to that. Not wanting to play other games...

And right now another game came into my mind. Somebody know 'The Forest'?!

It is kind of like 'Deep stranded' but you are crashing with a plane into a wide and lost forest and you have to find your daugher and you have to survive... I remember there are some really creepy bad guys/monsters who are showing up a bit later here and then - trying to kill you!

I think it is for the computer as well and not PS2 if I am right...

Could be one many titles. Is it perhaps The Suffering, or the Forest or even maybe Far Cry?
