Welcome at chapter six of my story. I hoped you enjoyed the last chapters of my story. In this part of the story we'll find out more what our friends are going to do after the high speed chase caused so many kills and almost destroyed entire Miami. They lost the gold, the girls and the Von Leer brothers out of sight. How they're going to solve this is up to MacGyver of course. Enjoy!
(We fade in with a soft tender MacGyver theme which later fades away) Chapter Six Dinner at Marcus’s place A New Hideout The Girls Dusk/Night
A few hours passed by when MacGyver woke up again from his deep sleep. The TV was still playing. He was still so tired, he couldn’t get his eyes open enough. He :yawned: yawned big time. His hair looked like a mess. In the back it was standing in every direction and his entire left side stood straight up. He rubbed over his face and :yawned: yawned again. Slowly he got up and went to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror and looked at his sleepy face and messed up hair. ‘What are you looking at?’ he asked to himself. ‘Answer me, dammit!’ No answer came. It made him smile. ‘I didn’t think so.’ MacGyver freshened up a little and was feeling better. He looked at his watched and saw it was a quarter past seven. About three hours has passed. He looked outside his window and saw dusk appeared. The sun was setting at the horizon behind the sea. Miami was covered under a yellowish colour. He loved the yellow colour. The ocean was calm and little waves were forming pushed to the edge of the beach and were pulled backwards again. Peoples were going off the beaches. Girls and babes in bikinis and swimsuits were passing by the hotel. That’s what he needed to see after what he been through earlier today. Girls and babes in bikinis and swimsuits. Blonds, brunets, redheads. He was now leaning on his balcony with his right hand against his face. He sighed. A car passed by. It was Mike’s car and he got out. Tough and acting like he’s the man with that little arrogance of him. A beautiful black girl in a white skirt and a black T-shirt passed by and whistled at him and his car. ‘Nice wheels!’ she said. ‘It’s a piece of junk but it rides like hell, really smooth, ya know I’m sayin’? Ya know?’ Mike replied and made the girl laugh. MacGyver saw what was happening from the fifth floor and shook his head with a smile. Mike kept talking with the girl without knowing that MacGyver was watching the whole thing. MacGyver noticed that it was no use to sign Mike or to call his name, because he wouldn’t hear it anyway. He went off the balcony, went inside, took his jacket and left his room after closing his door.
He went to room 520, my room and knocked on it. ‘Who is it?’ I asked. ‘Room service,’ he answered. ‘That can’t be!’ ‘Why not?’ ‘Because I didn’t order any room service.’ ‘But I have the order right here. Frogs legs, French fries, salads, barbecue sauce and ketchup.’ ‘What’s going on here?’ I asked while I opened door. ‘Fooled ya,’ MacGyver said laughing. ‘MacGyver!’ ‘Mario!’ ‘What is it?’ ‘Mike’s here. He’s waiting for us below.’ ‘Be right there.’ ‘I’ll go get Sam.’ ‘Sure.' I closed the door and MacGyver went on the Sam’s room. ‘I hope my little joke works on him too,’ MacGyver said giggling. He knocks on the door. ‘Who is it?’ Sam asked. ‘Room service,’ MacGyver replied. ‘What are we having then?’ ‘Barbecue!’ ‘I didn’t order any barbecue, I ordered Frogs legs, French fries, salads, barbecue sauce and ketchup. You got the orders mixed up with someone else’s.’ MacGyver was stunned how Sam knew what he said before at my door. ‘Yeah…, well…, shut up!’ He could hear Sam laughing inside. ‘Dad, come in, I know it’s you.’ MacGyver entered the room, but Sam wasn’t there. ‘Sam, where are you?’ ‘In the bathroom. I’ll be right there. Sit down.’ ‘No. I ain’t got time to sit down. Mike’s here, waiting for us downstairs.’ ‘Yeah, just a minute.’ MacGyver waited for about a minute and then Sam came out of the bathroom. ‘You ready?’ ‘Just my shoes.’ ‘How’s your head?’ ‘It’s just fine, dad, thanks for asking. A little ice can do miracles, it’s completely gone.’ Sam putted on his shoes and his jacket. ‘Let’s go,’ he said. Both men left the room and went back to mine. On the moment I opened the door, MacGyver was willing to knock on it but, he knocked on my head instead. ‘Whoops,’ he said. ‘MacGyver, I’m not a door, so don’t knock on my head.’ ‘Sorry.’ I closed my door and we all went downstairs to Mike. Mike however was still talking to the girl when he saw us coming. ‘Hey, my friends are coming from the hotel. I’m supposed to pick them up for a dinner. But give me your phone number and I’ll give you call one of these days.’ ‘OK,’ the girl gave Mike her phone number and left. ‘Beautiful girl,’ MacGyver said. ‘Ah well, ya know?’ ‘Yeah, we know!’ I said. ‘Just get in the car,’ Mike said. (Relaxing music comes up here and then fades away) We drove to Marcus’s house. It was a big house too. Mike parked his car on the driveway and we all got out of the car. ‘Come on, push the bell,’ Mike said to me. ‘Wanna bet it sounds like ding-dong?’ The bell sound more like ring ring. ‘Damn.’ MacGyver laughed a little. ‘You done, laughing?’ I asked. ‘No, not yet,’ he answered while he continued laughing. ‘OK, all done,’ he said and stopped laughing. The door went open and Marcus stood in the door. ‘Come in,’ he said and we all went inside. ‘Leave your jackets right here, give them to me and have a drink.’ ‘So where are them kids?’ Mike asked. ‘Them had a slumber party with some friends,’ Marcus replied. ‘It’s just me and Theresa.’ ‘Yeah? Well, I’m looking forward to meet your wife,’ MacGyver said. ‘She’s outside barbecuing the frogs legs.’ MacGyver, Sam and I shared a look with a growing smile and searched our way to the backyard to meet Theresa, Marcus’s wife. ‘Yo, Therese, what’s up?’ Mike asked while he led us the way to the garden. ‘Hi, Mike. Barbecuing them frog legs here. Are those the peoples from the pursuit?’ she asked. ‘Yeah, this is MacGyver, Sam Malloy and Mario.’ We got introduced to each other. ‘Well, take a seat a make yourselves comfortable,’ she said. ‘Is there anything I can help you with?’ MacGyver asked. ‘No,’ she said smiling, ‘just sit down and relax. I guess you could use that after what you’ve been through.’ ‘You’ve heard of it?’ ‘Heard it, seen it. But if you’re married with a cop, you’ll get used to it.’ Marcus came outside carrying a tray with drinks on. ‘Hey, I got them drinks here.’ ‘Great!’ I said. ‘Take whatever you like.’ MacGyver and Sam took a glass of orange juice. Mike and Marcus took a glass of scotch just like Theresa. I was willing to take a glass too but when Mac saw me taking a glass of scotch, he slapped my hand and gave me an orange juice. ‘Hey, I was willing to take that one.’ ‘The orange juice?’ ‘Yeah!’ ‘Right,’ he said not believing me.
While the sun kept setting the last hour, the more yellow it became, then evening red came when we all sat down at the table in the garden eating our dinner. I was sitting right from MacGyver, with Sam in front of me. Mike was sitting besides him and Marcus and Theresa were sitting at both ends of the table. ‘So, would somebody tell me what the chase was all about this afternoon?’ Theresa asked. ‘Things get outta hand sometimes and then you’ll get this,’ Mike said. ‘That’s swell, but that’s not an answer on my question. What is actually going on here?’ ‘Well, Mrs. Burnett…,’ MacGyver started but was interrupted by Theresa. ‘Theresa, please,’ she said. ‘Theresa. Yesterday a boat blew up. A colleague of ours was working on it. Fixing the last details of a new engine, we’re trying to develop.’ ‘You an engine developer?’ ‘No, we work for a company called the Phoenix Foundation in Los Angeles. We study things. Things we can improve and make environmental friendly. The ship went to the Middle East and picked up a cargo. Nobody knew what it was. When the ship passed the beach it suddenly blew up. We don’t know how come, it just blew up. So we went scuba diving last night and found out there was gold in it.’ ‘Gold?’ ‘Yeah, gold but, two bad guys, named Von Leer got interested in it. They must have been following us the whole time. Or they didn’t expected me to see. Anyway they kidnapped two girls and stole the gold, right from under noses.’ ‘And?’ ‘We set up an investigation which led us to the harbour and from there on all hell has broke loose. It ended up in a high speed chase that left an almost destroyed Miami behind.’ ‘That’s awful.’ ‘A lot of peoples got killed today,’ Mike said. ‘A lot of innocent peoples, huh, dad?’ Sam said. ‘Yeah.’ ‘We’ll get these scumbags,’ I said. ‘I’m sure you will,’ Theresa said. ‘With a little help of the Miami PD.’ ‘That’s us,’ Marcus said smiling. ‘How is the investigation going?’ Theresa said. MacGyver drank of his glass before answering. ‘Well, since we lost them at Disneyworld, not well.’ ‘They had a few good obstacles, like blowing up the road,’ Sam said. ‘We almost lost them there,’ I said after I swallowed a frog leg. ‘We tracked them down again but they switched cars.’ ‘And at that last f*cking minute, they took off. The --WATCH YOUR LANGUGE--s,’ Mike said bitter. ‘We were so close,’ Marcus filled in. ‘And what did Captain Howard say?’ Theresa asked again. ‘The dude was *bad word removed* off,’ Sam answered. ‘How would you be if hundreds of peoples got killed and a piece of the road is missing?’ MacGyver asked. ‘I’d probably react the same as Captain Howard,’ Theresa said. ‘We got another 48 hours, to solve the case or else we get canned,’ Mike said. ‘The both of you?’ Marcus nodded. ‘Why didn’t you told me this before, Marcus?’ ‘Didn’t wanna worry you, baby.’ ‘Don’t worry,’ Mike said. ‘He’d not be the only one who’ll be canned. I will be canned too.’ ‘But you got nothing to lose,’ Theresa said. ‘You just live by yourself. You ain’t got mouths to feed, like we do.’ ‘We’ll solve the case,’ MacGyver said, ‘and then they won’t lose their jobs.’ ‘Now that’s spoken,’ Mike said in approval. ‘Marcus, honey, would you like to get the dessert in the kitchen, please?’ Theresa asked. ‘I didn’t know we had dessert.’ ‘It’s in the freezer.’
Marcus got up and went to the kitchen. Their big kitchen. He was a little irritated because she asked him to get the dessert, but he had no choice. ‘I all ready brought them drinks, now the dessert too? I am the one that works around here, sticking my a$$ up in all the action, while your a$$ get suffocated each time when you sit on the f*cking couch. Now where’s that dessert?’ He opened the freezer but didn’t got time to look in it because of the bell the rang. ‘Marcus, would you get the door?!’ Theresa yelled from out of the garden. ‘Why not? I’m up anyway!’ Marcus yelled back at her. He rolled his eyes, sighed, shook his head and went to the door. ‘What the hell?’ There was nobody at the door. Marcus closed the door again, frowning. The bell rang again. ‘Oh yeah?’ Marcus said and grabbed his gun out of his coat. He yanked the door open. ‘Ha!’ he said but again nobody was there. He went on his driveway to see if anybody was there. Anybody suspicious if necessary. Nobody again, he went back inside and closed the door. The bell rang again. ‘Now what the f*ck is going on here?’ he asked while opening the door again. ‘Over here, mister!’ a kid’s voice said. Marcus looked down at a… kid? An 8 year old kid with funny red hair, freckles and braces. ‘What do you want?’ he asked rudely. ‘What are you doing here?’ ‘I tried to explain before but you were acting silly,’ the kid answered. ‘Hey, kid, you’re talking to a cop here. Now, what do you want? Shouldn’t you be in bed?’ ‘I’m selling cookies for my school, sir. I wondered if you would like to buy some.’ ‘Cookies?’ ‘Yes, small crispy stuff.’ ‘I know what cookies are. How much?’ ‘How much I’ve sold? About thirteen boxes already.’ ‘No, kid. I mean what’s your price?’ ‘Ten bucks.’ ‘What, ten dollars, for a bunch of over baked cookies? What kind of cookies are they?’ ‘Chocolate.’ Marcus took his wallet. ‘Five bucks.’ ‘Five plus tip,’ the kid said. ‘Five dollars for the cookies and five dollars tip. That makes your ten dollars worth.’ ‘That’s right.’ Marcus saw it was no use talking to the kid. He wouldn’t give up but neither would Marcus. ‘You, little delinquent,’ Marcus whispered between his teeth and gave ten dollars to the kid. The kid was willing to take the money but Marcus pulled his hand back. ‘First them cookies,’ Marcus said. The kid sighed. ‘Fair is fair, kid,’ Marcus said with a little victory smile. The kid gave Marcus the cookies box. ‘It’s empty. The rest of it too, kid or do I have to search you? You want to assume the position? Come on, gimme them cookies.’ The kid sighed again and gave Marcus what was supposed to get. ‘Here’s the bag of cookies, just place them back in the box,’ the kid said in defeat. ‘Never try to fool a grown man,’ Marcus said while taking the cookies. ‘Now, give me those ten bucks.’ Each time the kid was willing to take the ten bucks, Marcus pulled his hand back. ‘You can’t get it, can you?’ Marcus gave him the money in the end. ‘But let me give you a little warning, pal. If you don’t get out of my sight now, I’ll drag your sorry a$$ to jail. If I ever caught you smoking *bad word removed* or anything within this and ten years, I’ll drag you into it. Kids these days…, think they’re allowed to do everything. Want some good advice? Stay a virgin.’ ‘What’s a virgin?’ ‘You’ll find out, now, scram!’ The kid didn’t move. ‘Split, kid,’ Marcus said pointing to the street. The kid turned around uncertain and left. Marcus smiled evilly and flips the box of cookies through the air and caught it up neatly. ‘Crazy kids.’ He went back inside and closed the door.
Outside we were still waiting for Marcus to come back from the kitchen. ‘I wonder where he stays with that dessert,’ Sam said hungry. ‘Didn’t you had enough with your frog legs?’ MacGyver asked. ‘Uh…, no!’ the answer came. ‘They were well barbecued,’ I said to Theresa. ‘It was a nice meal, Theresa,’ MacGyver said thankfully. ‘And if we get some dessert now, it would be perfect,’ Mike said. ‘I’ll go look where he is.’ Before Mike could get a chance to get up, Marcus came back outside from the kitchen. ‘Hey, man, what took you so long?’ ‘Some kid at the door sold me some cookies,’ he said showing them to us. ‘Well, here’s the ice cream.’ We all got our ice cream and were eating it. All of us were relaxed until a sudden thunder clap interrupted the peaceful atmosphere. ‘Damn!’ Mike said. ‘No wonder. There’re thunder clouds coming this way from behind the ocean,’ I said. The second thunder strike was more distant again. ‘Quick, finish your desserts, then we can go inside,’ Theresa said. Within five minutes we finished our desserts, cleaned up outside and got inside, just in time before the storm really broke loose. The now completely dark sky lit up with intense colours of the lightning. Bluish white lightning. Miami was lightning town. ‘You guys, wanna drink something?’ Marcus asked. ‘Sure,’ Mac said. We all took our places at the dining table, with our drinks. ‘So,’ Mike said, ‘how are we going to solve this case, now they got away?’ ‘I don’t know,’ MacGyver said. ‘Dad, don’t talk like that. I can’t stand it.’ ‘I can’t stand that either, MacGyver,’ I said. ‘Needles in a haystack, that’s what is,’ MacGyver said. ‘What do you mean?’ Theresa asked. ‘They could be out of the country by now. Who knows where they are?’ ‘Mexico, perhaps. Most crooks escape to that area,’ Marcus said. ‘These aren’t crooks, Marcus,’ Mike said, ‘these are real villains.’ ‘I know, Mike.’ ‘Perhaps, there still could be a few possibilities,’ MacGyver said. ‘Like what?’ ‘We can still check out Andrea’s house, maybe we can find a clue there.’ ‘Now, why didn’t I think of that?’ I wondered. ‘Yeah, why didn’t you?’ he asked. ‘When?’ Mike asked. ‘Tomorrow of course,’ MacGyver said. ‘If we only got two days, we can’t afford to waste much time.’ ‘True! But what do you expect to find there?’ Marcus asked. ‘I don’t know. The odds are big enough we don’t find anything. Who knows, maybe we receive another phone call.’ ‘Might,’ Sam said. ‘It’s a good idea,’ I said, ‘but what if doesn’t get us any further in the case? I think we should at least have a back-up plan.’ ‘If we don’t find a clue there, we could a have a major problem then. A back-up plan, you say? I would have no idea what back-up plan we can use.’ ‘You really don’t know what the hell else to do, huh?’ Marcus said. MacGyver shook his head. ‘Oh, dad!’ Sam said. ‘What?’ ‘Your brain ain’t working the way it should be.’ ‘There’s nothing wrong with my brain, all right? I really don’t know what else we can do. The Von Leers got away with the gold and we almost destroyed entire Miami to get them. This is all we can do. Searching Andrea’s place, tomorrow twelve o’clock tops and we do the same way as we did with Allie!’ ‘As long as doesn’t turn out the way it did today, huh?’ ‘Cut the sarcasm, Sam,’ MacGyver said a little annoyed and drank of his glass. (Tense music comes up and takes us to...) Somewhere at the raging sea on a cargo ship called “Gold Rush”. The Von Leers were aboard, celebrating, that they got away with the gold. It wasn’t easy to celebrate when the ship was swinging on the sea. (The music fades away here) ‘Where’s the captain of this ship?’ Erich asked. ‘In the cockpit, I guess,’ his brother answered. ‘Why?’ ‘He’s got to throw down the anchors and remain on this place of the ocean.’ ‘Why?’ ‘The storm is way too heavy to carry on, we are getting swung from the one side to the other.’ Through an intercom in their cabin, they could take up contact with the cockpit. ‘Captain, this is Erich Von Leer. Throw down those anchors. We’ll remain here tonight and proceed when the storm’s over.’ ‘I understand, Mr. Von Leer. I’ll do it right away.’ The anchors were thrown down and the ship got anchored at sea. However the ship was pretty big, the waves really smashed into it. The ship was a little more stable now on sea and eventually the ocean got a calmer again but the storm kept on going. ‘Shouldn’t we check on the girls?’ Nikolaus asked. ‘What a good idea.’ Both men left their cabin, to the rooms below. They took an elevator that brought them to a cabin below the waterline. Allie and Andrea were there, and so was Mammon. ‘What are we actually going to do with them? They’re of no use to us,’ Nikolaus said. ‘We can still throw them overboard after we tortured them. A pendulum torture is still a very efficient way to get rid of trash.’ ‘We’re not trash,’ Andrea said. ‘We don’t have a pendulum torture on this ship, Erich,’ Nikolaus said. ‘When I was in London with MacGyver, that time, it came in quite handy.’ ‘Yeah, but it didn’t work that time, did it?’ ‘If we throw them over the side, the sharks can have their snack.’ ‘Now that’s a good idea. We’ll throw them over the side.’ ‘Oh, yeah?’ Allie said. ‘Take this!’ (Surprising fast paced music comes up) She hits Eric Von Leer right in the face with a good right hand and Andrea kicks Nikolaus against his leg. ‘Goddamn you --WATCH YOUR LANGUGE--,’ he said. Both girls didn’t hesitate a second to run away. ‘Mammon, don’t just stand there and go after them.’ ‘Right!’ Mammon said and ran after them. The girls were trying to find a way to the deck until Andrea suddenly stopped. ‘What is it? Why are you stopping?’ ‘Where are we going?’ ‘Away from here, of course.’ ‘Allie, we’re on a ship. There’s nowhere we can go.’ ‘Oh, *bad word removed*! Then we gotta make a stand for it.’ ‘Against those three? I’d rather run.’ Allie rolled her eyes. ‘Come on, let’s go, then!’ Mammon appeared behind them and started to fire his gun. Both girls shrieked and gasped. They kept on running with Mammon after them. They passed a bathroom and hides in there. ‘Let’s hide in here,’ Allie said. ‘Great idea.’ (The music fades away here) They went in the bathroom and locked the door. Mammon passed them by. ‘Where are those girls?’ A crewmember came to his way. ‘Hey, you? Did you saw those two girls?’ ‘No, they’re on the loose?’ ‘Yeah!’ ‘You’ll find them, there’s nowhere they can go.’ ‘Right!’ Mammon continued to look for them but decided to go back to the Von Leers brothers. On his way back he searched every door on the compartment. Until he came at the door of the bathroom. That one was locked, but it wasn’t before. (Here we hear the music from Humanity where the soldiers breaks the bookcase in the beginning of the episode) At the other side, Allie was trying to slowly open the door again but she freaked out when Mammon shot a few bullets in it. Then with his big powerful foot he kicked it open so hard that Allie fell against Andrea. Mammon stepped in aiming his gun at the both of them. (Now we hear the theme of the episode Humanity) ‘Alright, the two of you get up and come with me. Just don’t try anything funny, you hear?’ The girls slowly got up, fear was to be seen in their eyes. Mammon took another gun to keep Andrea under shot. ‘Get moving!’ he said pushing them with the barrels of the guns. They went back to the cabins below where the Von Leer brothers were waiting for them. (The music fades away here) ‘Mr. Von Leer, I got them. I found them in the bathroom.’ ‘Excellent, well done, Mammon,’ Erich said to him and gave him a piece of rope. ‘Here, tie them up, real good.’ Mammon tied their hands. ‘Their feet too, Mr. Von Leer?’ ‘Yes, that as well.’ Erich gave him another piece of rope to tie their feet up. ‘Bring them up on deck, we’re going to get wet.’ (Tense music comes up) Mammon carried both girls over his shoulders to the deck. It was terrible outside. Lightning coloured the sky and thunder chased after the light, rain was coming down pretty heavily. ‘You know how far it is to down there?’ Erich screamed. He had to scream or else they wouldn’t hear him from the sound of rain and thunder. ‘Very far,’ Allie screamed back. ‘That’s right!’ ‘You’re going to end up down there. Want a demonstration?’ Before Allie or Andrea could answer, Erich ordered Mammon to get one of their men. Mammon obeyed and went inside to get a man. Not much later, he came outside again along with one of their men. The man obviously didn’t know about the things that were about to happen to him. ‘Mr. Von Leer? What's going on here?' ‘Well, despite your good services to us and loyalty, I have decided to have you killed.’ ‘What? Why? What did I do wrong?’ ‘Mammon! Shoot him.’ Without discussion or arguing Mammon grabbed the poor man’s head and shot him right through his sleep. The bullet came out on the other side, blood spraying all around. Mammon put the body on the side of the ship and by grabbing one leg he threw the body overboard. ‘Oh, my God,’ Allie said. ‘Now it’s your turn!’ ‘No wait, please wait!’ Andrea screamed. ‘What?’ ‘Don’t do this. We didn’t do anything wrong. Let us go. We’ll tell MacGyver and his friends to back off. Just let us go. You have the gold. You wanted it the whole time and now you’ve got it. We’re of no longer use to you.’ (Music fades away here) ‘She’s right!’ Allie said. ‘If you kill us, they will come after you for sure. You’ll end up dead. You’re nothing with the gold if you’re dead. Let us go.’ Erich and Nikolaus shared a questioning look. ‘Don’t look at me,’ Nikolaus said, ‘but she does have point there. If we kill them, MacGyver and his friends want revenge, if we don’t kill them, he’ll come looking for us anyway. We got to get rid of MacGyver first.’ Erich changed his mind about killing the girls. ‘I know exactly how. We’ll fight it out here. We won’t kill you then girls. We’re going to use you for bait. The two of you are going to help us, killing MacGyver!’ Nikolaus laughed just like his brother. ‘We’ll set the details in my cabin,’ Erich said. ‘Take them back inside. Bring them to engine room and lock them up there.’ ‘Yes, Mr. Von Leer.’ Mammon took the girls to the engine room like he was told while the Von Leers went back to their cabin. ‘So, what’d you had in my mind for killing MacGyver?’ Nikolaus asked. ‘Last night, we had them real good with our ambush. Maybe we got to try something a like.’ ‘That means that we should…,’ Nikolaus started. ‘That means we should lure him to us.’ ‘How?’ ‘With the girls of course. At least with one of them.’ ‘Who, then?’ ‘Allie, she stands the closest to MacGyver.’ Nikolaus disagreed. ‘I’m sorry, Erich. I can’t agree on that one.’ ‘Why not?’ ‘Because I’ve got a better idea.’ ‘Like what?’ ‘We can better use Andrea.’ ‘Why?’ ‘On the beach, two days ago, I noticed Andrea had some feelings for Sam.’ ‘So? Allie has feelings for Mario and MacGyver.’ ‘That’s because she’s related to MacGyver.’ ‘Because she has feelings for Mario?’ Erich asked jokingly. ‘No,’ Erich said rolling his eyes, ‘because she has also feelings for MacGyver.’ ‘Right.’ ‘I wanna use Andrea’s feelings for Sam against her. If we use her, her feelings for Sam will draw him or them to use. Sam will freak out if anything bad happens to her. He makes a mistake and forfeits it with his life. MacGyver will get upset about his son’s death. He’ll make a mistake too and we got him. Mario, Allie and those two cops are no problem to get rid of. With a simple bullet they’ll die.’ ‘A simple bullet? Well, I hope so. They destroyed almost the entire city to get us.’ ‘We destroyed it to get away.’ ‘That’s true too.’ ‘So what you think of it?’ (Again tense music comes up here) ‘It seems doable.’ ‘You damn right, it’s doable.’ ‘When?’ ‘Tomorrow, of course.’ ‘Right.’ The Von Leer brothers shook hands over their agreement, smiling and drank another glass of champagne. If their plan succeeds, you might imagine what the consequences could be for not only MacGyver, but also his son and the rest of us. (The music builds up and reaches it's peak in the end as we fade out)

I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver. Sometimes you just have to die a little inside to be reborn and rise again as a stronger and wiser version of you. It's better to be a little sad than to be fake content.
