Author's comments:
This is the first full length story I wrote by talking to my computer using voice software. And believe me it's a heck of a challenge to the creative process. Being faced with a blank screen is easy when you can type the words as fast as your brain can come up with them and even faster than your conscious thought can read them. But when you have to redirect those words via your mouth, it's a bit like having to give a speech to a difficult audience! Your throat goes dry and your mouth just keeps opening and closing like a goldfish, but nothing ever comes out. Still, I got there in the end, and this is the result. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed the satisfaction of finishing it!
