He never thought this would happen again.

He’d hoped for it for a long time, but eventually he gave up.

Time does that.

But here he was, with her again.

Kissing her.

He knew he shouldn’t be. He knew they had more pressing things to attend to.

But nothing seemed more important than this.

He’d needed answers.

The words he’d needed to hear hadn’t come, but this was good enough.

He could tell by her kiss there were still feelings there.

But then she pulled away.

Her eyes said it all.

Gunshots rang out, shattering the jungle.

Shattering his soul.

You know, we did have a Mac drabble challenge going on for awhile on this thread, but it died down a little recently. I'm not very good at them--I guess it's difficult for me to be brief, like Polonius in Hamlet, yammering on and on ("Brevity is the soul of wit"). I know Loth did a few nice ones, though.

I have written several drabbles and double drabbles for SG-1. They are some of my favorite fics. These are my first for Mac.

OMG-I forgot one! I was just over on ff, looking to see how many I had done, when I remembered it! And it's my favorite for Mac. Coming soon!
