Jack O‘Neill and Angus MacGyver looked at one another in apprehension.

The two men had met only a short time ago, in a bizarre twist of fate that neither could have predicted.

They had already met challenges unimagined only months ago.

But now they faced demons that even their combined strengths could not vanquish.

For two other men also regarded one another.

Dalton and Burke sized each other up at a glance.

Both grinned.

MacGyver leaned in close to O’Neill and whispered a query.

“You think we could outrun ‘em?”

Jack nodded. “If you let me break their legs.”

“Deal.”

Oh, yeah! I'm sorry, I forgot about Labrador!

I mean, I didn't forget the story--it was really well done--I just forgot somehow that it was a full fic length. Anyway, I guess what I meant to say in my earlier post is that I'm looking forward to when you turn this drabble into a full crossover fic. Crossovers can be fun, but challenging (as I'm finding out with my most recent story). I can't wait to see what you do with Mac and Jack (O'Neill, that is
