I know RDA in recent times has made it known that his memory on episodes is a little hazy, but did he ever comment on what is favorite season was?

What is yours? And why?

I can't speak for RDA, but my favorite season was Season One. The show was new and fresh, and I loved every episode.

2 - 4 - 3 - 6 - 1 - 7 - 5

In season 2 they near perfected the have this place/setting/scenery thing and pop MacGyver in it and construct an organic story around it formula. Silent World and Soft Touch are less about the scenery (though they do have some interesting things) but they're among the best dramatic story construction of any 80s-90s show.

Season 4 has really good BCcore (The Survivors, The One With The Suspension Bridge, The One With The Electromagnetic Thing), and the progressive downtown episodes are excellent too (or almost anyway). Also no episode at all that's an outright miss.

Season 3 is similar but there are some episodes that don't really work and fewer excellent ones.

I would like to think that the two movies are his favorite, because he produced them and got to travel to england.

That would have been a different experience compared to the rest of the series, he probably got to stretch his legs on other aspects of filmmaking and he probably made more money from those than anything else.

I would also guess that seasons 2 and 3 were his least favorite, since he was recovering from a back injury. He was probably in a lot of pain during most of those years.
