Oh my God. ohmy.gif

Rest in peace, Rick. You were a good writer.

Is that a recent picture? Doesn't look like 84 at all.

It's always terrible to receive news like this. sad.gif

How very sad. He wrote some really beautiful stories.

Goodbye, Mr. Mittleman, and thank you.

Just wondering though. Since most of his episodes involves teens and I think this especially because of Live and Learn, do you think he was, I don't know maybe some kind of teacher himself at one point in life?

Just thinking though. Stephen Downing was a police officer if I recall well and he wrote Deadly Dreams where Mac and Pete are working with the police when he joined the show.

Maybe Rick Mittleman was a school teacher before or during his writing career.

I don't know. What are your thoughts about this?

Thank you Mr. Mittleman for providing us with great stories, not just for MacGyver but C.H.i.P.s and Simon and Simon. Job well done.
