MacGyver along with other explorers was first guy in history to step his foot onto Headwall Canyon wilderness.

Ghost Ship episode came to my mind, because there Mac also discovered untouched land when he was putting the transmitters into the ground.

A bit of Log Jam in there, too! Never missed an episode of Explorer when it aired on TBS. And, suddenly, now realize the similarities between it and MacGyver. Hitting the exact same reward part of the brain (for me) and with the compelling music/score, cinematography and adventurous backdrop trifecta. The only difference being one fact & the other fiction.

That is pretty cool though. It's amazing there are still places like that left.

My cousin helped with the clean up of Lake Michigan many years ago, so I can certainly appreciate the efforts that go into water cleanup and conservation. If anything, my cousin is the reason I have any kind of appreciation for environmentalism.

Nice! I saw parts of this on one of the Stargate DVD Extras, but that was only a few minutes.
