Karen Blake's dream of being a secret agent turned into a nightmare when
she was blackmailed in to working for Quayle, an international criminal, on the
understanding that if she didnt her brother, also a DXS agent, who had been captured
in Czechoslovakia, would be killed.
she was to me a off ball, scared to some point that if she didn't do as she was told by both sides she would end of dead or in jail. Didn't like how she tricked MacGyver and Pete, but it was for a good reason i guess.

She should have know that DXS would help if she came forward. I nevere would have trusted Quayle that no one would get hurt and your brother would be freed.

That's an interesting point. I guess you could argue that it depends exactly what sort of agent or work she did for the DXS, but yeah generally not the type of person you would expect to make any kind of intelligence/investigative agent.

I actually liked Karen Blake. Despite her flaw in having any backbone to decide what was right, she portrayed a typical 2 dimensional character that was reminiscent with 80's TV shows.
