Here we go...for the last time?
-Missing people are always found in the desert. Can't believe they didn't check there first.
-Abducted by aliens near the Staples Center? Well, that is the home of the Lakers, and LeBron James is in the new
SpaceJam.
-Does Mac do their laundry? I get why Desi's speakeasy outfit is there, but why were Bozer and Riley's just handy?
-Mac having a cardboard cutout collection of various nerds is super on-brand for a guy who wrote songs about epidemiologists.
-They look like cat-burglars in these matching PJs.
-Watching
Die Hard. Somewhere Jack wipes away a solitary tear and smiles.
-Mac also has a secret room. I now believe every team member must have a secret room in their house.
-Bozer's right, "Mac Cave" sounds way cooler.
-I bet Brooklyn(ne) & Sara(h) as a duo have played guitar and sung before a small crowd in a coffee shop a time or two.
-Are we sure Jennifer Poole isn't Patricia Thornton's sister? There's a resemblance.
-Bozer acting very "season 1" so far in this episode.
-So what was the point of the Speakeasy mission and tagging Cresta?
-Bozer's last minute accent and Russ as the "exuberant American." I laughed.
-These "government officials" look more like an updated version of Al Bundy's "No Ma'am" group from "Married with Children."
-Those fireworks didn't look like they went off at "10 miles up."
-Love Mac stepping aside for Riley to deliver a haymaker to Marcato.
-"Season 5" Bozer returns with a solution to the nanobot problem.
-One last 'round the fire chat. Wish there would have been more of these.
-Nanobot free. Good acting in this scene.
-Shuffling off the government coil.
-LMAO. They credited the guy Russ got into an argument with at the military celebration as "Dad Bod."
I agree with Dashboard, this was pretty good as a season finale, but falls a bit short for obvious reasons as a series finale. Ultimately, that's a darn shame as I really would have liked to see Phoenix operating completely out from under the auspices or control of any agency but themselves. Could have been a lot of good "random adventure" episodes to come from that. I did see that finding that Incan treasure that Russ was after would have been part of a season 6. That could have been fun, but alas...I guess there's still a glimmer of hope, but with CBS owning the rights, I just don't see anything coming of the #SaveMacGyver campaign, sadly.
...'til we meet again...
