| Ooooh goodie! I've been waiting for this one! Just watched The Wasteland the other evening so I'm in "Willis mode"! First off, let me say that you have really good description and detail throughout...awesome job! In the beginning, I like how Mac's character acts like a bridge between Willis who's totally techie and Daniels who's pencil and paper. Aaaaaw...Willis has a crush (said in a sing-song voice!). Oh, and he worries about her going off on her own! I like Elisa...she's honest and has spunk:) No, I don't think Mac was ever over-eager when talking to girls. If anything, I'd say he's reluctant/hesitant. It seems more times than not the girl has to make the first move...not that he doesn't reciprocate;) LOL when Mac hits his head when Elisa says she likes hockey...poor Willis! Really liking this so far...anxious to see what happens next...hope Elisa is OK!!! |

Hi, I make the VS artwork. Basically I ask what Rocket and Sanguine would like on the poster, find the relevant pictures, background etc, and then mash it all together in Photoshop!  Now time for part 2! http://macgyver.tv/s2/river/styx2.htm |

Great episode!! I like how they both take care of Elisa...and Willis blushes  AND carries her backpack! I loved the tension build-up with the earthquake...that was really unexpected. Of course Mac fixes his own headlamp!! This is gonna be a big test for Willis's device...he doesn't seem so confident about it now! I'm really growing to like Elisa. She just takes everything in stride and is game for anything! Looking forward to next week's episode!!! |

| Yay!! Part 3!! So much I really liked about this part! Love that Mac steps in a puddle...he always was a bit of a klutz at times. Of course Mac can save the day with a piece of rope!! Love how Willis describes what Mac's doing to Elisa and how she yells at Mac when his backpack lands in the river and disturbs the fish! The banter between the three of them as they are crossing the river was good and really lulled me into complacency because I was totally surprised by the aftershock! Wow, that could've been a lot worse!! I was really worried for a minute. OK, things are going too good now. Something else has to happen, but what???? Waiting for next week!! |

| Awesome ending!! Mac just had to take all their hope away in the beginning, didn't he? And then with the river backing up...wow, serious trouble!! As soon as Willis mentioned there was potassium nitrate around I *knew* Mac was gonna do something with that!! Super job on the MacGyverism, even if Willis did have to sacrifice his INS. OMG...Elisa's engaged! Poor Willis!! I think we need a sequel where he actually gets the girl;) Love it when he says his new navigation system will be MacGyver-proof. I'm not sure that's possible...LOL!!! Really great story!! Thanks for the reading enjoyment!! |
