| I was rereading some of my old Warriors books and I came across something very interesting in the allegiances for SkyClan's Destiny. Kitty Mac makes his first appearance on page 60, in chapter 4. He also shows up in the manga short at the end of the book. The SkyClan daylight-warrior isn't much like the human MacGyver, I'm afraid... But he does seem pretty brave and he enjoys joking around with his Clanmates. |

| Macgyver's appearance in the manga short at the end of SkyClan's Destiny... He's the black-and-white cat on the right. If I recall correctly---which I may not be, since I found this information out years ago, before I actually cared about MacGyver---then the cat's name was chosen by Vicky, who's one of the three "Erins" who write the Warriors series. MacGyver was one of her favorite shows, so she named the cat as a nod to Mac. It's funny how I'd completely forgotten that until I came across the SkyClan books. When I first read the series years ago, I never gave any of this a second thought! But I thought it'd be neat to share.  |
