Yea, that's right. He even tweeted a couple of strange duck pictures from his lodge while he went on a safari/getaway. By the way, the duck he took pics of was a rubber duck.

Placing it in certain areas around his bathroom and doing the whole wildlife commentary. It was hilarious.

Yeah, I think softening him up with a question about whales or hockey or motorcycles etc would be savvy ..... and then go for the throat with a juicy MacGyver query.

Yup, I have seen his "Formula 1" tweets. I know he is also quite the family man.

A question I couldn't ask in Duesseldorf (if it's a silly one, just forget it...):since he travels a lot and meets fans from all over the world, does he notice a difference between Americans,Canadians ,Australians or Europeans ?I mean in their attitude towards him (apart from the language barrier which is a problem for us of course).I watched a video some time ago ,where he said they had planned to shoot in France but they had to go to England instead, partly because the French were 'overfamiliar' and he didn't quite like it.

Ask what he thought about the vehicles he drove (jeep wrangler, chevy nomad and chevy pick-up) and if he had a favorite.

I'm not exactly sure what he meant. It's possible he got too much attention there perhaps and it made him uncomfortable. I can't really say for sure.

I just know that despite being a nice and friendly person, RDA is also very shy and reserved. If you actually watch him on interviews and convention panels, he is obviously very nervous while being in the spotlight.

Edit: I didn't even answer your question. lol I'm sure he notices some differences, but I do know that he cares about all his fans, regardless of where they're from. He wouldn't be where he is without them. He often talks about how humbled he is when fans wait in long lines just to spend a few minutes with him.

Indeed he cares ,I can tell you that in Germany, he didn't spare his energy for the photo sessions,the autographs and the meet & greet when he was with his fans (I was there and I enjoyed every minute ) He apologized because we had to wait ( a lot) but he was very popular ,and since he had a few kind words for everyone of us , he was always late . I remember someone from the FedCon complained about it .But of course, we,fans, didn't complain .

Ohhhhh, I gotcha. I thought you were asking us. XD See, that's what I get when I post when I first wake up. I, myself, have never met RDA and would love to meet him. I actually was hoping to go to Shore Leave (which started today), but I was unable to save up the funds to do so.

Based on various Q&A sessions that I've seen with RDA, it seems pretty pointless to ask him anything about MacGyver. He rarely remembers anything, and he usually gets sidetracked while giving answers, and veers off onto unrelated stories, and then asks, "What was the question?" I'm guessing most of us probably know more about MacGyver than he does, at this point.

That's true.

This is common with others actors as well. Nowadays I don't bother to ask too much about their shows or movies, I rather talk general things with them, like something I could talk with friends. No more question this and that, if possible just wanna hang with them for a while.

I actually have no idea what I'd say to him... except for "You act good. Me fan."

Come on ,Jediferret .I'm sure you can do much better than that.

He's very open-minded ,I think you can talk about many things with him (nature,sport,travels...)And he enjoys meeting people and talking to them (otherwise he wouldn't do what he does with the cons ,it's exhausting ,I can tell you from what I saw and from his tight schedule in Duesseldorf).

Talk about the present ,he'll be delighted (funny I talk as if I knew him very well only because I met him once,I hope I'm not wrong,but I think I'm right).

While shooting MacGyver, did he ever cut himself using all those SAK.

Apparently my question was answered by Kiwi.

He wrote this for the Three for the Road episode.

"This is the episode RDA sliced the side of his hand open while playing with his SAK between takes.

The story as told by RDA was that they were filming the scene where MacGyver cuts open the back seat and between takes RDA was stabbing the knife into the seat when the blade folded over and cut the side of his hand."

HAHA I was just kinda making fun of myself. I've heard RDA is really easy to talk to and isn't very judgmental. Not to mention, he doesn't come off as all that scary in interviews or cons. It's actually why I want to meet him. He's the only actor I've actively wanted to meet because of those reasons.

I have social anxiety, which is an extreme fear of being judged. It's even worse when it's someone I look up to or admire. However, once I get passed the initial meeting of a person, and I know there's no fear of being judged, I'll open right up. Or if you don't want to wait... get me a margarita. lol

Otherwise, I'm very social and I love talking to people. RDA is just someone I'd like to meet because he seems like such a nice guy, so I'm willing to risk it and go out of my comfort zone. I don't normally go out of my way to meet actors/actresses. But, he seems worth it. I wouldn't mind meeting other fans either. I'm always up for making new friends.

I managed to talk to him somehow though I'm French (French people aren't reputed for their language skills!).But it was the 'part of my life' if you see what I mean (I won't meet him again)so I had to say something! And I met other fans too ,which was interesting .

Being American ,you'll do far better than me when you meet him and I hope you will .

He's a very nice person. You won't regret it.
