I know we discussed this before, but I can't find it. Have any of you ever found a font similar to the MacGyver title font? I haven't turned up anything in any of my searches.

Amy, I'm not sure what the official font is but the closest that I know of would be Copperplate Gothic Bold.

I haven't ever found a MacGyver font (that you can actually incorporate into and use in Microsoft Word for example)- but I have found gif files of all the letters of the alphabet, some punctuation marks and numbers 0-9 (I think), all in the MacGyver font style.
And I'm pretty sure I have those files.... somewhere. It's been many years really- but I'll have to dig and see if I can find them, if you're interested.

You are welcome, Amy. Plus, if you have Copperplate Gothic Bold installed on your computer, it can be utilized in Word as well. I mostly use it in Photoshop or Illustrator.

and if you play around with the colors you can get it looking very similar.

We've got graphic fonts here

These are basically gif files of each letter of the alphabet so you can use them in any kind of graphic editor (word processor,image editors etc) to make your titles.

I've got no idea who originally made these or where they came from, but they did a pretty good job.

Thanks! Turns out when it saved it was already on my computer. I'm not sure if I had problems opening it or installing it or what. We'll see what happens!

This looks like a heavily customized version of ITC Symbol Font to me.

This link shows what it normally looks like. Type the word MACGYVER and you'll see it's the basic same font, just not as nice.
