In the UK, I have spent a great deal of time at home during several lockdowns which led to me discover Macgyver. I am halfway through the final season and looking forward to going back and rewatching so many of the great episodes.

My question to you is: During lockdown, what Macgyverism have you used to solve problems around the house?

I do not have anything too glamorous or exciting but I did make a small hook complete with tiny handle for fishing small pieces of lint from my smartphones headphone socket. I noticed sound loss and a loose connection which blowing into it did not fix. Turns out there was two years of pocket lint packed in the bottom that needed to be fished out.

If I end up putting together an everyday carry tin, the lint tool will be going in to impress friends and colleagues with my lint fishing abilities!
