In the opening credits the title is mis-spelled as "Phoenix Under Seige"

I always wondered - at the beginning, when Harry had trouble to find the way back home it seemed to me that it was the beginning of Alzheimer's? That never was mentioned again in any other episodes with him.

Well I guess that they wanted Harry to be useful in other episodes. If he had Alsteimers, Mac would kinda have to baby-sit him.

When Victoria prepares to shoot Phillips, there's clearly no bullets in at least three of the seven chambers of her gun. There's no reason she'd be carrying a half-empty gun in a situation where she plans to shoot people. She's only fired one shot to date, which means even if she forgot to reload there should only be one empty chamber.

The title was misspelled in the opening credits as "Phoenix Under Seige". This was corrected for the DVD release.

As is already stated in the first post of this thread.

How can you see that?

You have to look really hard to see it.

i may have found one for this. You see victoria delete the inventory file on the phoenix computer so there is no traces of information left. When mac goes back to the computer to try and find what room the bomb is look at the pc screen when it shows it. It's probably best to pause it. about mid way down you see something that says something about a bomb, a liberation front and that it is in room 532. I also believe it says something about a failed bombing. It sounds exactly what happened with victorias bomb. I am not clearly positive the room number it lists is 532, it may be 542 or something along the lines of that.

Let me show you how I believe the information on the computer shows mac which room the bomb is in. Harry pushes the telephone buttons 5 times to show mac that he is on the 5th floor. I would imagine the building is set up with rooms 1-199 on the first floor, 200-299 on the second floor and so on, meaning the fifth floor would have rooms 500-599 on it. Remeber the pc said room 532 was where the bomb is at so it matches. You see mac run up the stairs to the fifth floor. It looks like he is right around rooms 528 or so as soon as he gets up onto the fifth floor, so I could imagine that the room he finally finds harry in is room 532 as indicated by the computer screen before. I guess they messed up and left the information about the bomb in the computer even though it was supposed to be deleted. I do not know how to get pictures of the PC screen and when mac is on the 5 floor to try and show you. Maybe someone else can post pics of the pc screen and the 5th floor.

if you watch when MacGyver and harry are trapped in the vault with the gas MacGyver helps harry up onto some boxes to get higher RDA accidently bangs into the wall of supposedly hard wood cabinets behind him and the entire wall noticibly wobbles.

While constructing his electro-magnet, Mac removed the top of a faucet stating that it will serve as an "iron bar". However, faucets and bath fixtures are typically made from plated brass or stainless steel, neither can be made magnetic.

mac says the faucet will be used as an" iron bar" to make his electromagnet in the lab but when he gets it all put together and is at the lobby door the voice over says its a stainless steel faucet

after victoria jumps out the window mac returns to the inventory file to look up the location of the bomb but when victoria came into the room he was working on the computer closest to the door, the same one victoria was working on earlier but when he returns to the computer after their fight he goes to a different computer, the one closest to petes office

Mac and Harry come out of the room after stopping all that gas and there is a rubbish bin right next to the door. It's pretty obvious that Harry knocks it deliberately. It'd be impossible to miss.

Around about the beginning of the episode, Mac and Harry are shown driving on the wrong side of the road on their way to the Foundation. The double yellow line is shown to the passenger-side of his Jeep as he makes his way through an intersection. jeep.gif

The two jerseys laying on the rail in Mac's apartment at the very end of the episode are clearly New York Islander Jerseys. I don't think this was the intention. It looks like somebody goofed in the props department and/or they didn't get proper clearances in time to use the appropriate logo. The two teams (Islanders, Oilers) team colors are quite similar and so to the uninitiated - they might appear as Oiler shirts ... but you can clearly see the hockey stick as per the Islander logo.

Was that eggnog really non alcoholic, when he drives wrong side of the road, plus two time crosses that same intersection, which explains that he was lost and drove twice around that neighbourhood laugh.gif

It's a double lane road - 2 lanes in each direction. I notice you can see a double yellow line on the drivers side of the jeep as they approach the intersection so he is on the correct side of the road but not sure why there's a double yellow on the camera side of the intersection though. I don't know U.S. road markings.

The center median / left and right turn lanes are in between the double and single yellow lines. For safety purposes, drivers are not suppose to cross double yellow lines, which are usually closer to intersections but can extend the entire length of the center median / left and right turn lane. So there are total of five lanes: two in each direction and the center turn lane.

When MacGyver and Harry meets Victoria for the first time she says she works demograhics. It sure took Mac a long time to realize she was on the wrong floor for that. You might think if Mac knows Phoenix so well that he knows which work is done on which floor. Actually I would've liked to see her face if Mac said: 'That's not on this floor.' biggrin.gif

The bandage on Mac's finger keeps changing. When he is trying to diffuse the bomb you can clearly see the white gauze at the top of the tan bandage, but in close-ups the white gauze is missing and there is only the tan bandage. doh.gif
