| So, did you guys hear that, according to MDB's tweets, both he and RDA are going to Comic Con in Rhode Island on November 3rd? Yeah, I doubt I'll be able to attend. Anyone else? |

| Unfortunately, I have bigger priorities that are the top of my list at the moment, like visiting my Dad. Putting the meeting of RDA on the backburner has pretty much been the sacrifice. I'm also in the process of planning another move in the next couple of years, which is why I'm hoping to get a second job. I need to get my debts in order because I'll be moving in with a friend. If everything works out, I should be in a better place to meet RDA. Also, I'll have someone to go with me.  |

I actually was in a bad place when I met him in Ghent. Those hardly 30 seconds I spend with him during the signing and photosession is about the only thing that brightened everything up for a brief moment in the past three years. It's a long story but I was so glad I went. I'll always remember that moment at the signing table when our eyes connected and his eyes sparkled as if we hadn't seen each other in years. That moment was like: he sees me. I led a pretty invisible life at the time, before and after I met him. It was really really worth it. Then again, the chances you'll meet him on one of the other cons in the States are bigger then where I live. So skipping once shouldn't be such a drama. |
