Very good interview. I love sense of humour and how he's so engaging. I didn't know the fact about his leather jacket.
Great stills that you had accompanying what he was talking about. Some of them I'd never seen before.
I also like that he said he has a closet full of blue jeans but hasn't worn in a long time because he wears khakis now. While I don't have a closet of blue jeans, I haven't worn jeans for at least seven years, opting instead for khakis and cargo pants. Great, fashionable minds think alike, eh?

Excellent interview, one of the better ones with RDA - casual, relaxed and to the heart! No topics/questions to really pique my interest though but ..... to each their own and hard to please all quadrants of fandom.

LOL! I love how personable he is. That was a great interview. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yeah all the good questions went unasked because he gave such in-depth answers to the few that I did ask it chewed up all the available time.
I actually thought I had an hour, but it turned out to only be half an hour so I was caught short. To be be fair though, I should have verified before starting, but lessons learned.
Still, it's cool that he was willing to open up as much as he did and give such in depth and detailed answers. And I'm keeping the list of questions. Maybe I'll put the list up on the site sometime so others who are going to conventions can pick a question to ask him so they too can have some interaction with him.

Very nice interview.Thank you. He developed all his answers ,seemed very at ease (maybe because it was just 'audio' ). It was also a great idea to illustrate with photos what he was saying or referring to. Too bad it was so short The only way to ask him more questions would be to find someone who could meet him during a 'meet & greet' (and is registered here of course). He(or she) would be our spokesman (woman). The next convention will be in April in Denver.Do you have 'meet & greet' in the USA too?Or is it just for Europeans,Australians... who don't have the opportunity to see him very often?
They had a cocktail event here with most of the celebrates as well as a StarGate brunch. The brunch was 6 people per table and 10 or 15 minutes with each celebrity.
I'm toying with the idea of running a list here so people who are going to events and would like to ask him a question, but are perhaps having trouble thinking of something unique to ask could choose a question from our list.
That way everyone wins. They get a good question to ask and we get the answer.

At first I thought it would be organized like that in Duesseldorf (tables +10 or 15 minutes...). In fact we were gathered in a room (about 20 people, one man only ) and he stayed with us for an hour (55 minutes to be more precise) .So we had plenty of time to ask questions. But we were shy ,the language barrier was also a problem...anyway I managed to ask questions (but I had to adjust to the conversation and his replies, which wasn't always easy for me, in retrospect I realize I said a few silly things too but I wasn't quite myself !). I suppose we were very lucky to have the privilege of staying that long with him(and I was sitting next to him so it couldn't have been better ) But of course ,we had to pay the price.... During panels though , anybody can ask a question So it's worth trying.

At Starfest here in Denver they have a celebrity meet and greet the Friday night of the con, where the celebrities that choose to attend make their way from table to table talking to the fans that have paid extra to attend. I've never personally attended one of these, as I've never been that interested in any of the celebrities that have been there. However, if RDA attends, I will be first on line.
Starfest also has a contest, which allows fans to create table centerpieces for the meet and greet which are judged and prizes are awarded. I'm formulating an idea or two that are "MacGyver" centered.

Well done... great interview... thanks
I would really like to meet RDA one day...
When I was young, back in those days when email was not a standard, I wrote a letter to him to an address shown at the end of The Stringer.
Snail mail is slow. Weeks passed and finally I received a postcard with a photo of RDA on the front and his signature at the back of the card... I was the happiest boy on earth

Myself, I think someone should petition Chris Hardwick to interview him on The Nerdist podcast. I'm sure he'd love to have him, and the format on that show matches up well with what I heard on your interview.

Reminds me of the time a young Drawz sent a letter to the Chicago Cubs. I asked if Ryne Sandberg and Jody Davis could sign their autographs on a piece of paper and send it back to me. I included a check that my dad gave me for like $5 or something.
A couple of week later, I got personalized signed pictures from both of them, and the check back.
I can still see them in my mind, but sad to say, the pictures got lost along the way, no idea what happened to them.
