Whats the chance that a MacGyver video game will be released to go with the movie for all gamers out there i think it would be cool to play as action hero MacGyver.

Than the movie has to be an enormous hit first, before they might consider making a game of it. And with enormous I mean it must reach the popularity of movies like Spiderman, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
If that can be reached I think it should become a point and click game, interact with characters and doing what every human being does, like driving with cars, do stuff at Phoenix and international missions.
If made properly we might have a competitor in the endless first person shooters. Though I like wargames and such but it would be an interesting aspect in the gaming industry of using wits again.

No, there isn't one based on KOTCS. The LEGO game is based on the first three movies, and LucasArts is making "Indiana Jones & The Staff Of Kings", which will be an all-new Indy adventure.
As for a Mac game, I'm really surprised it hasn't already been done. The show was popular enough, and there were a couple of Knight Rider games, so why not Mac? I guess Knight Rider games are a bit easier to do, since you basically just make a generic driving game and then slap on some KITT graphics.
If anyone gets a chance to play "Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon," I'd recommend it. It's probably as close to a MacGyver game we're likely to get. Lots of clever puzzle solving using everyday objects, a treasure hunt, some good action scenes, etc.

They're like more than a year behind schedule on that game.

You mean the Indy game? (Broken Sword has been out for a long time.) But yeah, the Indy game was first announced in 2006, I think. They're WAY behind.
Jeah, I don't know how it's called but I've seen trailers of it and there are levels on the trams of San Francisco and I knew they were very far behind and there was this idea I think of having it released during the latest movie, but it just keeps lasting.

If they do it according to the characters it should be a good movie, possibly with a second like National Treasure. I wonder if they would come out with action figures.
