What does everyone think of the piedra villian?

It's one of my favorite Mac episodes , probably because it reminds me when I was a kid and this episode sticks out to me.

I think he's the perfect villain, out smarting the police more then once. His demise is also creative and fitting for his character.

Good unique character. His base appearance is regular middle class 80s dude which was unusual.

I think a lot is the structure of the episode though. We start with immediate high stakes. He is then apprehended but escapes. That's already very engaging. And they interweave a survival episode with an uncover the plot episode, which works wonderfully.

I agree! If someone were to have never seen MacGyver before, this would be a great episode to show them!
