This is my Top 40 MacGyver Episodes list AKA the Best Of list I had intended to make. It all started with simply the best episode from each season. Good Knight MacGyver being a two-parter, I ended up with 8 episodes. So I figured The Negotiator and Ghost Ship being honorable mentions to finish the top 10. Then I decided to look up to other number 2's and 3's. So I ended with 22 episodes and at least one tv-movie: Lost Treasure of Atlantis making it 23. I was sure I could make it to a Top 25. The Top 25 became a Top 30 and a Top 30 became a Top 40. So I began to look up to: what's the episode about, what does the episode mean to MacGyver, how personal is it to him, what does the episode mean to me personally, in how much danger he is, what are the musical themes of the episode and how MacGyver is it. I know there are other episodes that are personal to him like: Lost Love, The Widowmaker, The Endangered and I think lots of fans consider The Survivors as one of the most MacGyver episodes in the series but they just didn't make the cut. Anyway, this is it, albeit temporarily but I think I have most episodes that meets the criteria I mentioned above.
