I Was watching Logjam, and it's supposed to take place in Oregon. You can clearly see a sign say Squamish Hotel. Why did they never make an episode actually take place in BC?

Interesting question.

Even in the episode Battle for Tommy Giodano when they took the kid to Canada it was Alberta rather than Vancouver - even though they filmed that episode in Vancouver.

Maybe they just never came up with a good reason for him to travel to Vancouver.

But, I feel like all television back then did the same thing, X-Files and 21 Jump Street etc, shot in Vancouver but never mentioned as the actual place on the show during an episode

Some labor situations are unique to America. But yes it would have been a good nod sometimes.
