He was 85. We all knew him from The Invisible Killer as Henry Colter and from Live and Learn as George Fraley. He had a distinctive acting style suited for many of these rough edge characters you may have met in the 1980s, yet played a wide range of them and all very differently. Also many of them were a twist as a character themselves, and he always played them evenly and coolly.
Like many people he was a frequent guest actor in classic shows including the three classic 80s-90s Star Trek series, Quantum Leap, and many others.
